update #06:
I can now chop trees (they even spawn loot), plant seeds and harvest their crops ( tomatoes can be harvested multiple times), camera works with the mouse and i accidently made a cool digging-camera

I am currently playing Blue Dragon on xbox (for rpg inspiration) and thinking: how good does a class-system work in a game? I mean in BD no matter if you e.g. choose Kluke to be a tank, her stats says that she is more like a mage.

@BenjiGameDev What about the option to toggle help signs like the yellow stuff on and off?
In my first game I had the problem that those few people who played my game weren't familiar with tank control. I made the option to toggle between silent hill or resident evil control but nobody cared

lack of yellow paint in the Azaran demo has certainly led to a few angry / negative responses. gamers need yellow paint and focus M, otherwise they feel lost and frustrated
If I was making a game for mass-appeal, I'd add yellow paint - but I'm not, so I won't

Yellow paint bs in videogames exists solely because gamers are fucking stupid. Like uniquely stupid. Tested again and again and found to be crushingly stupid. As if they were built in a lab to be so stupid If you don't want to see it anymore then stop being so fucking stupid

Right now I finished my final design oy my potato for my #FarmingSim. Besides that I am struggeling a little bit with the plant-managing system I programmed in #Unity. A new clip follows when this works.

Hey guys.A little update regarding my latest project Spiral Town: Now you can collect thingsitems and tools, throw logs and you have to use the correct tool to remove those blocks. Even a day-night-cycle and it's UI is working.Wuhu!

@horrorvisuals @TaintedPact I didn't like the "always bleeding effect" when taken any damage but I must admit: This was the best game for me on halloween this year

Limited saves, surprisingly great melee combat for the genre, and perhaps the BEST survival horror gunplay in recent memory. I can't recommend this game enough.

Howdy! I implemented a silhouette on the player and my first final mushroom into the game. Now you can pick up blocks and items while you can see yourself behind walls. Even small steps do count!Also my voxel system reduced the 37k batches to 147

as indicated: the shrooms in my first picture are my first try. Now I am about to make them final. The death cap e.g. in the middle is my final one. Thanks to #aseprite I just have to shrink and correct the picture when using a pixelated version of this image
