Like I’ve been saying… a coaching staff that was tactically inept but never saw it that way. Meanwhile the new HC & staff is hungry & understands how far they need to go.

Carnell Tate said he considered running the 40-yard dash again at his pro day but ultimately decided against it. Tate, a projected top-10 pick, said the 40 can be a bit “overvalued” and cited top NFL WRs such as Puka Nacua and Jaxon Smith-Njigba who didn’t bave blazing 40 times.

Such a fluid athlete. He moves laterally with ease. Explosive & his cornering is also impressive in space. Only 20 years old. 🤯

@billbarnwell I did research in undergrad about how GMs who feel they are in the hot-seat will trade draft capital + future draft picks at a higher rate than if they are secure. He doesn't have time to see a 2nd round pick materialize. Win now, or get fired and it's not your problem

Lamar was Ravens 2nd pick, we saw same last year with Shough and Dart. They married the talent with the value.
