@ames_NFL @spotrac It's not nonsense. It's a way of pegging value in an inflationary environment, a relatively recent occurence. There was a time when elite QBs pulled down ~16% of the cap. Then Mahomes reset the market to ~22+% & $45M AAV, which isn't even a top 15 AAV, behind 2 EDGEs.
