NCAA increased it from 350 to 400 miles in which it will pay for a school to charter flight to site. Charleston is 380 miles from Orlando, so NCAA will only cover cost of a bus. Told Charleston is going to pay for charter on its own on way down for team and families and bus back.

@JFeinsteinBooks Pushing the smaller schools out of the national scope continues. The hypocrisy shows through when a small program like Loyola (Chicago) breaks through in the tourney & is treated like royalty yet ignored for very good regular seasons in favor of average or less Power 6 schools.

The NIT marrying itself to the NET to invite teams like Florida (16-16) and Wash State (17-16) and leave out a 25 win Fordham team is just foolish. A sold out Rose Hill would have been great for ESPN and Fordham has more NIT tradition than anybody.

KETTLE RUN GIRLS TRACK's ADALIA COLEMAN (Jr. Bridgewater College) successfully defended her national championship Saturday by winning the NCAA Division III gold medal in the 60-meter dash in 7.64 seconds. She later added all-America honors with 6th in the 200 (24.8 seconds).

CORRECTION---FAUQUIER GIRLS TRACK's KIKI WINE was the Falcon who finished 4th earlier in the week in the 1000-meter run at the state Class 4 track meet. Her time was 3:03.19.
