Wolfgang finds it ironic that this legislation comes during a landmark anniversary year for the country. “When you consider that this is the semiquincentennial of the American Republic, the 250th anniversary of our founding, that is not the American way to treat our rights as if they come from the government. That’s the French Revolution. That’s not the American Revolution.” ncregister.com/news/connectic…

CPRC President / Chief Counsel @RealVernadetteB recently sat down with Epoch Times’ NTD for a wide-ranging interview on the fight over gender ideology with schools and child protective services. They covered secret school transitions, the disturbing weaponization of CPS against loving parents, and the growing momentum we’re seeing in the courts to protect parental rights. Watch and SHARE the full interview!

Waterbury's newspaper had an editorial in its Sunday edition reminding readers that the reason Connecticut politicians hate slippery slope arguments is because they're the ones greasing the slope. Note the editorial's first example: "Haven’t we heard this story before? "Three governors ago, an argument was raging through the Connecticut legislature and media. Should civil unions be granted to gay couples? Back then, the idea of gay marriage was considered to be beyond the pale. The legislation, signed by Republican Gov. M. Jodi Rell in 2005, 'afforded to qualifying same-sex couples many of the rights and benefits that the state makes available to married heterosexual couples. Second, it ‘defended’ heterosexual marriage by defining marriage as involving one man and one woman.' But same-sex marriage? Perish the thought. "In 2008, the Connecticut Supreme Court unperished the thought, legalizing same-sex marriage." ctinsider.com/waterbury/opin…

"I have never in my career ever seen legislation pinpointed to kill a lawsuit like that," Candelora said. "It is quite extreme, and it's significant because it is trampling on people's religious freedom." ctinsider.com/politics/artic…

NEW: The White House just concluded a meeting on abortion drugs with pro-life leaders from Susan B. Anthony Pro-life America, including President Marjorie Dannenfelser, a vocal critic of the administration's handling of life issues as of late. I'm told that Dannenfelser had "a very constructive meeting at the White House today."

@GovNedLamont "As the US Supreme Court has affirmed, a state cannot treat every parent as a potential threat simply because some parents do wrong. That presumption of suspicion—applied universally, before any evidence of harm—is, in the court’s own word, “repugnant” to American tradition."
