Some of y'all who were on the conservative side are defending Iran, and this is sick. Now we have a group of soccer girls whose families are being held captive, and they refused asylum. Only to go back to certain death because they didn't recite the Islamic republic anthem. Gross. The Iranian regime carried out the public execution of a 19-year-old wrestler despite U.S. pressure and global pleas against the move. Reports say champion wrestler Saleh Mohammadi was killed in a public hanging for protesting against the regime, as the Islamic Republic tries to snuff out the ongoing movement seeking to topple it. "His execution was a blatant political murder, part of the Islamic Republic’s pattern of targeting athletes to crush dissent and terrorize society, as seen with Navid Afkari and others executed despite international outcry."

@Devon_Eriksen_ It's amazing that just a few decades ago a millionaire was the height of wealth. But alas the dollar devalued and now those same people are in the Billion status. It's just numbers. Elon is one of the greatest minds of this century and living like it.

He doesn't actually have all that much money. Compared to you or I, yeah, sure, but not compared to what you'd expect. What he has is ownership of some companies that some people think are insanely valuable. His near-trillionaire status is based entirely on what those people think those companies are worth. Middle-class, working-class, professional-class people like me — and probably you, too, because only a handful of my followers are billionaires — don't usually understand what a billionaire is. We tend to think of wealth as a measure of what you can afford to buy... this many dollars, you can have this and this, but not that. Because that's what we do with money. We earn it because we need it to live, we spend it on the things we need. Break even and you're okay for today. Get a little bit ahead and you're safe. Get a little further ahead and you can have some fun, press the hedonic lever a few times, snort some better quality cocaine off a prettier whore's tits. And that's what Bernie Sanders wants you to think a billionaire is. A guy who's got a billion dollars stashed away for hookers and blow. But that's not how it works. A billionaire's wealth isn't a bank account or even a stock portfolio. It's a valuation. An estimate. It doesn't even mean that he could sell Tesla and SpaceX and Starlink and whatnot for 800-someodd billion, either. Because 8?? billion is what all these things are worth based on the assumption that Elon Musk will continue running them. Were he to decide to sell, suddenly that confidence, and those estimates, and that selling price, would go way down, fast. So all those billions are less of reality and more like a description of what's going on, and how important we think it is. What's going on is that he's obsessed with space tech, he's leading some efforts to develop it, they're working so far, and people think that's important. And he's so obsessed with them that his house isn't the Chateau des Reves, it's just a box for him to sleep in, because that's all he does there. Some people like Bernie Sanders, see this high valuation as an opportunity to steal. I see it as a planetwide consensus that something important is going on here, and we shouldn't jostle the table or make loud noises.

This is unbelievable. My account has ONCE AGAIN been mass reported, this time resulting in a REMOVAL of my account from the Revenue Sharing Program My account does NOT contain any hateful or extremist content, nor does it promote or affiliate with hateful groups. This is a coordinated effort to deplatform me and it is disgusting. I heavily urge you all to go follow @MamdaniWatch2 as I cannot guarantee this account will be active within the next few days. I will be seeing what actions I should take next behind the scenes.

Entourage. Premiered in 2004 and quickly became one of the defining shows of the 2000s. Inspired by Mark Wahlberg’s real-life rise in Hollywood, the series followed Vince and his day-one crew navigating fame, money, and the chaos of the movie business. 8 seasons. Countless cameos. But at its core it was always about 4 friends from Queens sticking together. Name a better HBO era.

I've never taken America's State of the Union addresses very seriously. I consider myself, if nothing else, an ideologue, and these addresses are, at heart, regardless of the party of the President delivering them, more pomp, flair, circumstances, and pep rally than anything else. Their format is the reason why. These aren't debates. These aren't even opening statements against which a competing perspective has a chance to contemplate and respond. These are platforms that offer the reigning administration (and rightfully so, they won the after all), a chance to deliver their message without rebuttal or challenge. So, from a sheerly intellectual standpoint, you don't gain much as a principled citizen from watching them. That said, there are certainly moments during these transmissions that serve as decent pieces of illustration as to polarity and stance, if only in gestures, body language, or mannerisms. I think tonight's address contained a poster child for one of those moments. It was when Donald Trump stated, "Tonight, I am inviting every legislator to stand to join with my administration in reaffirming a fundamental principle. If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support: The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens and not illegal aliens." Half of the room stayed seated. If this is not an utterly historical example, forever memorialized in time, as to how far off of the reservation our left wing gone in 2026, I don't know what else is.
