I’m making 2-3 moves this week and of course want to remain flexible to all chip strategies. But I don’t like the idea of ignoring Newcastle simply because they may blank in GW34 (should I go FH33-WC35). I’m glad I saved up to 5FT. Probably won’t overthink who I buy this week!

My first thoughts from the Fa Cup draw, you may well disagree but just what’s in my head! Feel free to add any others in the comments! 😊 1. Selling Haaland and WC32 if he doubles is a very real possibility now. 2. Knowing if WC32 is the 100% the best play is hard with 2 difficult to call ties. 3. WC32 FH34 is still the safe and obvious strategy. 4. Only one of Liverpool and City will likely double in 33. 5. Very good chance of a 35/36 double unless Palace AND Liverpool or Man City crash out of Europe.

Triple Captain in GW26 was probably an error, and I’m not even saying that with hindsight (FYI I did it too). I think in general there was a big oversight around the fact that Liverpool play Crystal Palace in GW34 and Manchester City’s postponed fixture is also against Palace. All that was needed was for Liverpool or City to reach the FA Cup semi-final to create a double outside GW33.
