Have been able to confirm this now, it looks like it's specifically related to xMin inputs My guess is it's players like Sumerville being on 95xMins and 0 availability, which will likely blow up some non-linear calcs The two work arounds I'd suggest are, 1- linear optimiser is working well regardless and tends to be good for multi-chip solves anyway 2- you can set loading your past xMins to no if you're not attached to them

@fplreview Ye. If it matters im running at speed 1 and don't have any drafts. I got set xMins for many players. Also when I run "chip timing" at speed 3 - some scenarios have EV and some have NaN. Thanks for checking ;)

Yeah, I think most people just give up if things don't go well early on, but will see it out if they are in contention for mini leagues A lot of the most active managers tend to have very ambitious targets considering what is actually achievable which leads to a lot of disappointment

@WiktorWBoxing Ran it with that team id this morning and it seemed to work- likely something specific with saved xMins/drafts. Will be able to load up with your settings this evening

@fplreview And its transfer solver

Hi Wiktor, can you send me on your team id and which solver you are using? (transfer solver/linear optimiser) I ran tests on a few different random teams and everything seemed fine, so might be something specific. Alternatively if there were "forced decisions" as part of the plan that would be the most likely cause

@fplreview Hello mate. I have a bug. I can't run transfer solver with BB33, FH34, TC36. It runs 3 secs and then doesn't recommend any transfers and Evaluation Score is NaN. It was working well yesterday.

@fplreview Are there any known issues with the website on Chrome? For 2-3 weeks it's be running really slowly. Works fine on Edge.

Would be interesting to confirm, anecdotally I agree that as time has been passing to get higher EV ranks managing team value seems to have become more important- almost definitely because there are more top managers and other edges are becoming hard to find/hold onto Probably would be a bit tricky to untangle in terms of FPL points as outcomes have a strong causative effect of value

@formadillo As the field gets tighter I think team value becomes much bigger in terms of rank difference (even if it seems to be a bit smaller than usual in terms of absolute ev difference). Would be interested to see if this matches what @fplreview is seeing 🥝

@chewiefpl There's ~2M genuinely active teams towards the end of the season so I'd say if you're not going down the analytics route I'd say this is fairly solid

Tough to say, I suppose some kind of proxy could be made on how rigidly people followed the model with default settings assuming deadline solves etc.- though it would likely be a really heavy duty assessment I'd imagine it could be a comparison of the solver path against the best possible path with the actual moves applied, with the metric being "eval loss" Maybe something I could do exclusively for the elite 1000

@fplreview Is there a measure that would indicate how closely someone follows the model? I'm guessing the closest thing would be Elite correlation, although that assumes that the Elite managers generally follow the model
