Hey, the way that I'd read that image is that you're making solid picks and have maybe been slightly unlucky relative to other managers. Based on that kind of data you'd probably have a median outcome of ~80k at a guess, but as FPL has so much variance you could end up anywhere from 1k to 500k+ in practice In terms of decision making, I can see you built high team value but more info will exist below this header image. Usually the biggest thing people trip up on is taking many hits, however that may not be the case here. Beyond that the best way to boost these numbers is a numerical approach to the game as it really is a game of numbers and chance

@FplAntiques Might be too constraining for the classic transfer solver- usually it's best to limit to one or two forced moves per GW with it, will slot in naturally into the linear optimiser Expect some improvement with this next season though!

@fplreview any possible reasons I can't get transfer solver to accept my parameters? (It spends all the transfers in GW35 instead)

Not sure there's any clean solution in this specific kind of fixture scenario Killing off chips or heavily nerfing them (ie. only WC pre Jan 1st) would limit this but it would be deeply unpopular and tbf the second WC is fun with the right schedule Something like artificially encouraging low EO players (+1 point per goal/assist/CS if <~10% at deadline) would be great for number crunchers and would add pressure against this outcome, but I think making it that technical goes down a path of ruining the game

@fplreview Yes not disagreeing here but isn't that always the case. Should we do anything taking into account the circumstances to demotivate this? You have to agree that this isn't ideal for the game and the community no?

Have been able to confirm this now, it looks like it's specifically related to xMin inputs My guess is it's players like Sumerville being on 95xMins and 0 availability, which will likely blow up some non-linear calcs The two work arounds I'd suggest are, 1- linear optimiser is working well regardless and tends to be good for multi-chip solves anyway 2- you can set loading your past xMins to no if you're not attached to them

@fplreview Ye. If it matters im running at speed 1 and don't have any drafts. I got set xMins for many players. Also when I run "chip timing" at speed 3 - some scenarios have EV and some have NaN. Thanks for checking ;)

Yeah, I think most people just give up if things don't go well early on, but will see it out if they are in contention for mini leagues A lot of the most active managers tend to have very ambitious targets considering what is actually achievable which leads to a lot of disappointment

Hi Wiktor, can you send me on your team id and which solver you are using? (transfer solver/linear optimiser) I ran tests on a few different random teams and everything seemed fine, so might be something specific. Alternatively if there were "forced decisions" as part of the plan that would be the most likely cause

@fplreview Hello mate. I have a bug. I can't run transfer solver with BB33, FH34, TC36. It runs 3 secs and then doesn't recommend any transfers and Evaluation Score is NaN. It was working well yesterday.
