Out of all the new Vendetta Legends, Mel caught the attention of both me and my testing partner, @ninotcg . After several days of testing, we believe it’s a solid deck, but still a step behind Ezreal and Diana. Hopefully this list gives anyone interested in Mel a good starting point. #Riftbound

After a lot of testing through the week I think I landed on what im shooting for on vendetta release.

@Doowan_ To add to this you also would not pay deflect when targeting the new B2 because deflect cannot be added onto the cost of the spell if the spell is already on the chain.

@Doowan_ The B1 mistarget comes from taking control of the spell and B1 is considered not a friendly unit. B2 is an enemy unit and wouldnt mistarget.

#Riftbound QOTD: My enemy plays Star-Crossed and targets my unit A1 and their unit B1. I play Rebuttal and pay its extra [A] cost. As Rebuttal resolves, I want to make new choices and change from A1 -> B2 (and keep B1). Is this allowed? If so, why? If not, what happens?

@GamesDecon For me it fell much in line with the logic behind banning Obelisk. There isnt really a better go first or go second battlefield.

Interesting convo on Riftbound Polska discord about the cause and effect in this sentence from the ban announcement: "[Removing these two battlefields will increase diversity of battlefields played] and make player choices less deterministic on being first or second." Does that mean that the decision of which battlefield to pick was solved based on the known variable of being 1st or 2nd or the decision to pick going 1st or 2nd was obvious due to having Arena as your battlefield? Feels like it could be read both ways. @TrickJarrett is there a way we could get some light shed on this one? :)

@housesarebig @NewrofTCG Stella might get banned for the sins of Akali and Irelia. In Akali she is basically draw 3 that can only be stopped with reaction speed removal.
