Church in liberated Shusha, Azerbaijan, beautifully restored. Its pre-occupation appearance has been revived. Preserving our homeland’s cultural and religious heritage remains a top priority.

Azerbaijan’s deputy prime minister, Shahin Mustafayev, is visiting Armenia as part of an official delegation - his first trip back in about 40 years to the country where he was born, educated & fluent in Armenian. Mustafayev was born in 1965 in Armenia and studied in Noyemberyan, where his family was reportedly from the village of Jujevan.

Azerbaijani diaspora has issued a letter to President Trump in protest against anti-Azerbaijani statements made by New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani. • They said Mamdani’s targeting of Azerbaijani people could affect the US-backed peace process with Armenia.

This was King Charles III finest hour. His address to Congress was witty, clever, cultured and touched the most important issues facing both our nations. Countless standing ovations and rounds of applause. The value of our monarchy is truly priceless. God Save the King 🇬🇧

Brilliant, bold and challenging address by King Charles to the U.S. Congress which was (very unusually!) united in regular standing ovations. The best speech of his life, right when his country needed him to step up and repair the Special Relationship. Bravo, Your Majesty! 🇬🇧 🇺🇸

@NYCMayor Interesting framing of “genocide” while Armenians continue to live in Azerbaijan today, and Azerbaijanis were fully displaced from Armenia. Facts tend to make these narratives a bit more complicated than the slogans suggest.

Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani
Today marks the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. As we honor the 1.5 million Armenians murdered by the Ottoman Empire across modern-day Turkey, Syria, and Armenia, we must refuse to let history repeat itself. In 2020, the military forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey attacked the Armenian population in Nagorno-Karabakh. In 2023, Azerbaijan expelled over 100,000 Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh, continuing the genocidal campaign that had begun over 100 years prior. On this day of remembrance, we reaffirm the right of the Armenian people — and all people — to freedom, safety, and self-determination.

Qardaş Türkiyədə bu gün və dünən orta məktəblərdə baş vermiş silahlı hücum hadisələri bizi dərindən kədərləndirdi. Həlak olanların ailələrinə və yaxınlarına dərin hüznlə başsağlığı verir, bu zorakılıqdan zərər çəkən hər kəslə, qardaş Türkiyə xalqı və hökuməti ilə həmrəy olduğumuzu bildiririk. Yaralananlara tezliklə şəfa diləyir, bu ağır günlərdə qardaş Türkiyə xalqına səbir və güc arzulayırıq. @MFATurkiye @tcmeb

Lithuania and Azerbaijan share a history of solidarity, with our peoples supporting each other during the struggle for the restoration of independence. Today, we see clear opportunities to strengthen our partnership across many fields and expand people-to-people contacts, to the benefit of both countries. Had a good discussion on this with @Speaker_Az Sahiba Gafarova.
