@Rick_1400 And if you think Rwanda isn't your country because this new prices. Maybe Rwanda shouldn't be your country. I don't like it either but it's a reality and it is not unique to Rwanda even though we might suffer much as a landlocked country but fuel prices are going to be higher.

@Nevesbabe So you saying the FARDC did what it did but the issue became the Rwandan spokesperson to mention while every day you don't stop pointing fingers to Rwanda for the same thing you are whining about here. So as you killing your own people everyone else should close their eyes?

Ms. Yolande Makolo, how dare you publicly speculate about events inside the Democratic Republic of Congo when they did not occur on your soil and you have no authority over what happens in our country? Before anything else, let us remember the human tragedy. A humanitarian worker lost her life in Goma. An innocent life was taken, and that loss deserves respect, dignity, and truth. Her memory should never be used as a political tool. But making public accusations against the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo without evidence, without a completed investigation, and without jurisdiction is irresponsible. If military operations occur, they occur on Congolese soil, where the Congolese army is defending its own territory against armed groups operating inside our country. For decades, the Democratic Republic of Congo has endured invasion, destabilization, and the looting of its resources. So when Congolese forces defend their own land, the world suddenly rushes to condemn them while remaining silent about those who have helped destabilize our country. FYI: The Democratic Republic of Congo is a sovereign nation, you have no lessons to give us. 🇨🇩
Yolande Makolo 🇷🇼@YolandeMakolo

“Following the drone strike in Goma that killed a French humanitarian worker, the exact drone or missile type and launch point remain unclear. However, several indicators point to likely involvement by the Congolese armed forces (FARDC). FARDC accounts for the vast majority of recorded air- and drone strikes in eastern DRC since 2025. ACLED has documented more than 60 such strikes by the Congolese military in 2026 alone, after surging in the last quarter of 2025.” acleddata.com/expert-comment…

Sanctioning the RDF by US Treasury (under EO 13413) blocks all its assets in the US or controlled by US persons, and bans US individuals/companies from any transactions involving the RDF or these 4 officials: - Vincent Nyakarundi (Army Chief of Staff) - Ruki Karusisi (Maj Gen, 5th Infantry Division) - Mubarakh Muganga (Chief of Defence Staff) - Stanislas Gashugi (Special Operations Force Cmdr) On the RDF/army: Ends US military aid, training programs, equipment sales, and financial dealings. On Rwanda as nation: Strains US diplomatic/military ties and may affect related aid, but no direct sanctions on the government, civilians, or general economy. Rwanda's gov called it one-sided.

When you paid Mario Nawfal, with his 2.9 million followers, to give the Rwandan president a platform mocking the Congolese president as a “pizza delivery man,” you were thrilled. But when @HarianaVeras who doesn’t even have 20K followers picks up the RTNC microphone at the White House, you suddenly start screaming about ethics, professionalism, and rules you never believed in.

Tunisia and Algeria rank lower in some hospitality indices due to safety concerns, political instability, and bureaucratic hurdles for tourists (e.g., visa openness rankings from Henley 2025). Rwanda stands out for its safety, efficient infrastructure, and welcoming policies in global surveys like GPI 2025. Experiences vary!

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has confirmed that the penalty awarded to Morocco yesterday was correct, validated by experts and the VAR. ✅ However, when Senegal’s coach Pape Thiaw instructed his players to leave the field, it disrupted the flow of the match and impacted player performance. Morocco is now set to take legal action against Senegal, bringing the case to CAF and FIFA. This isn’t over yet, Africa. 🚨🇲🇦 #AFCON2025 #Morocco #Senegal #CAF #FIFA #AfricanFootball #AFCONwithMicky

The Bank of Tanzania's 5.75% policy rate, held steady in Jan 2026, aims to boost growth by keeping borrowing affordable amid stable inflation and robust GDP projections. A low rate encourages lending, investment, and spending, fostering growth but risking higher inflation. A high rate curbs inflation by increasing borrowing costs, potentially slowing economic activity. EAC members have varying rates due to differing inflation levels, growth needs, fiscal policies, and external factors; they maintain independent monetary policies without a single currency.

One thing about me i am well traveled. I have taken flights from hundreds and hundreds of airlines. I have tried it all in terms of flying. So my ability to handle horrible airline service is actually high. If I can handle Copa airlines in Latin America, I can deal with anything. But the customer service we had yesterday while flying @FlyRwandAir was the worst of the worse. It's ridiculous from the mess at checking in, to everything that followed until landing.
