Auckland Emergency Management have issued two Emergency Mobile Alerts (EMA). One for for Rodney, Helensville, Upper Harbour, Te Atatu and Henderson Valley and one for Muriwai , Piha , KareKare and Bethells.

For the start of March, weather agency (EU,US,CA) ensembles are projecting high pressure to be east of NZ again, with surface low pressure in the Coral Sea and Southern Ocean. Still very early days but the trend needs to monitored closely in the South Pacific / Tasman.
