Pits, when they choose to attack, can inflict extreme damage. They mostly attack other dogs. But insurance companies know the stats. Pits are uninsurable

@cremieuxrecueil Tragic in many ways. A dog is what it is. Averages are just what they are - averages. A golden retriever is way less likely to bite than a pit bull. But one that bites isn't more docile than a mild-mannered pit bull. And the thing about pets is, if a hazard, they can be put down

@cremieuxrecueil Dogs can be predisposed to behavioral issues, just like humans. Especially after trauma. Don’t get a rescue dog if you want an easy normal life. Don’t get in a relationship with a human with a traumatic and violent upbringing also. Some cultures are more violent than others.
