India with a population of 1.4b people was told not to buy cheap Iranian oil and India didn't buy it for 7yrs. Iranian oil easier to refine compared to the Russian or Venezuelan. Now, sanctions on Iranian oil have been lifted to ease the oil scarcity and India was told "you can start buying" but at an expensive price. Imagine refusing to buy cheap oil when you can, only to start buying when it becomes expensive. It's better to have someone like Kim or Traore as your leader than Modi because despite what Trump did to India with his tariffs last year that forced Modi to visit China after many years, Modi is still licking Trump's ass.
