I was always scared when I saw the government overpaid me while I was in. It would lead to hours of searching my LESes to see where it might have been, and making sure it was on the level. Fortunately, I never got hit with a surprise No Pay Due, because during PCS’s and TDY travel, I watched everything like a hawk and made sure I made copies of orders and receipts just in case.

Ai has its uses. Here’s a recent one, I witnessed firsthand: A Soldier was notified that they had a substantial financial debt to the tune of close to 7k dollars. The only problem? The Soldier has no idea what the issue is, so they go to finance. Finance can’t figure it out. They say the debt is legitimate and the Soldier must pay. His only option is to request forgiveness from the first COL in the chain of command. In order to do so, he must provide evidence as to why he doesn’t owe the money. The problem is that no one knows what the debt is for, so he cant provide evidence. So him and the 1SG take all of his paystubs and put it into GenAi. The response? There was a mistake at a previous duty station. Not only does he not owe the money, finance owes HIM money. He takes all the evidence to finance. They process everything and he goes from owing thousands to getting thousands. Stay on top of your finances folks.

@HLC_actual It appears like there’s no damage to the plane following the strike. So it feels like a fake to me.

I’m cautious about this. There are reports a damaged f35 landed in the Middle East. However at this time CENTCOM has not stated that it was from enemy fire. A couple of red flags in the video. 1. No countermeasures deployed. 2. Video cuts almost immediately after “impact”. If Iran hit they would immediately publish the full video as proof. 3. Any pieces or parts that came off would be shared like wildfire on so I’ll media. 4. If you pay attention and the last frame shows the aircraft being cold post impact. Could be a lens issue as well. The thing doesn’t feel right overall.

I served on active duty for 4 years and 21 years in the reserves. My military ID let me go to sensitive locations, like a military base. Under the SAVE Act’s insane requirements, a military ID does not allow an American to vote.
