Political heat has intensified in Telangana over the controversy surrounding Union Minister Bandi Sanjay’s son, Bandi Bhagirath.
Days after police confirmed Bhagirath was unavailable for questioning in the ongoing case, rival groups appear to have seized the opportunity to politically corner the BJP leader.
Ahead of today’s scheduled inquiry, posters calling Bhagirath ‘missing’ have surfaced in several areas, urging the public to inform the nearest police station if they have any information about his whereabouts.

As MoS Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay defends his son accused of child rape from a Hindu ekta rally with saffron-clad seers around him, multiple social media handles defame a minor child posting her videos in violation of POCSO laws. One takes refuge in religion, others shame the survivor - all in defense of POCSO accused.
Time for Telangana police to take action against handles causing trauma to the survivor. Don't stop at revising sections in the FIR.

Waiting for the BJP to strip him off of his ministry and also Karimnagar people to see the man for who he is. He used religion to become an MP & a Union Minister. He never turned an eye when farmers were struggling for urea or people were struggling for water or power or for cylinders or anything at all. It is shocking that nearly 1,00,000 police personnel in Telangana have been unable to trace a 25-year-old accused booked under the POCSO Act for allegedly spiking the drink of a 16–17 year old girl , especially when he happens to be the son of a BJP Union Minister. Even after 3 days, there has been no arrest.

Bandi Bageerath POCSO Case Update On 8th May 2026, 10pm, a POCSO case was registered at Pet Basheerbagh Police Station, Hyderabad against Union Minister Bandi Sanjay’s son Bandi Bageerath. 85 Hours since the case has been filed. Here are the developments - The victim was called by the police and statement was recorded. They want to call her again for investigation. - Bandi Bageerath is absconding as per the Telangana police 👌🏽👏🏽 - Bandi Bageerath is probably in Dubai, as per sources!!! After all the Jai Shriram chants the father yells, he has made it to Dubai, most likely. - An SIT has been formed to investigate as against the usual POCSO rules. Why an SIT? Why isn’t Bandi Bageerath arrested? No one knows! - So far, zero investigation to track Bandi Bageerath. Police are simply saying his phone is switched off. End of investigation. - Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, who is also the home minister during a “Chit-chat” yesterday said first the honey-trap and extortion case against the girl has been registered and POCSO was the counter-case. - Revanth’s message is clear. The victim will never get justice in Congress government. - Revanth’s didn’t explain how a honey-trap case has been filed on a 17 year old girl.
