How long will the Iran War last? The IDF just completed its THIRD large-scale wave of airstrikes across Tehran TODAY. We’re trying to save the world as fast as we can.

Putin obviously knows stuff none of us do. This is from the head of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Alexander Shokhin - who I had the pleasure to meet in Moscow in 2024. Shokhin was at a closed-door meeting between Putin and the Russian business elite. Putin thinks the war on Iran will be "resolved" in max 4 weeks.

@__Zurvan @RealPepeEscobar The claims of short period really came from Western sources. I don't think we have evidence of Putin saying anything along a short war in Ukraine. If you track the source of this propaganda, a US general pops up. @grok do we have evidence of Putin giving timeline of Ukraine war?

@RealPepeEscobar He thought Ukraine war would be resolved in short time too. The only people Iranians should trust is Chinese! If Iran should stop being stubborn and accept Chinese system fully. They could be the true ally of Chinese people! Just like we had back in the day!

A $1M bounty has been posted & still running for the capture of @s_m_marandi, a prominent academic regularly featured on Western media, & someone I know personally. It has been live for five days. Reported by thousands. Still trending. Still up. And running as a paid partnership. @Safety @Support, you’ve been tagged repeatedly. @elonmusk, this is your platform. Is this what “free speech” means now? Calls for kidnapping, as long as the target fits? And we’re told by your team, it doesn’t violate the rules. This is nothing short of a public solicitation of a criminal act. A call for kidnapping, & potentially worse, being allowed, promoted, & monetised in plain sight. If this targeted a Western academic, or an Israeli, it would be gone in minutes & the account indefinitely suspended. Keep it trending people. Keep tweeting about it & keep tagging the power to be.

@TheMeridianZero @BRICSinfo Diego Garcia is not in Israel. Having Israeli planes fly unaffected over Iran doesn't repute missile dominance over Israel. It means Israeli defences are now depleted and Iranian missiles can hit Israel with ease.

Iran claims missile dominance over Israel. Reality check: they just tried (and missed) a 4,000 km shot at Diego Garcia—exposing hidden range they denied for years—while IDF flies unchallenged over Iranian nuclear sites. This isn’t superiority. It’s asymmetric escalation to force negotiation before the regime’s decapitation campaign finishes the job. Long game: Gulf states quietly cheer as Iran bleeds prestige and proxies. The illuminations over southern Israel? Flashy, but fading fast. ```

⚠️The Iranian regime just fired a long-range ballistic missile at Diego Garcia, and here’s why that matters. It means Iran’s missile industry was far more developed than widely believed. @CSIS put Iran’s maximum range at 2,000km. @Israel_Alma_org said 3,000km. But this was nearly 4,000km away, potentially putting London in range. It’s a reminder that intelligence is far from perfect, and you never know *exactly* what the enemy’s capabilities are. And that’s critical for what it means for a threat to be “imminent”. The idea that the world could safely wait till Iran was one minute away from a nuclear warhead is insane. Secret weapons programs are by definition secret. If an enemy regime is threatening you with death, you would have to be insufferably arrogant (like many foreign diplomats, commentators, and politicians) to believe you know what it’s capable of or when the “last minute” is to thwart it. You have to factor in a margin of error, or margin of humility. When the regime cries “Death to Israel, Death to America,” it’s suicidal to risk waking up one day and finding it’s much further along than you thought. Beware.

@EylonALevy What's their next target? Church of Saphulcher? Because you banned pilgrims from Al Aqsa on their holy month of Ramadan and now you ban Christians from the holy week of Easter and you justify it by blaming Iran? We know you hate Christians and Muslims equally.

The news cycle is moving so quickly that I’m on a TV panel and told the Iranian missile attack on Jerusalem’s Old City is “old news.” I don’t think people understand the implications of the possibility Iran is trying to hit Al Aqsa to pin it on Israel and ignite a global jihad.

"Are you concerned that killing Iran's terrorist leaders will only create a new generation of terrorists?" No, and here's why. 1. Killing terrorists now might create more terrorists who want to kill us tomorrow... but the immediate problem is terrorists who want to kill us now. This is not a morality play, it's real life. Maybe killing terrorist leaders will inspire more to emulate their path to "martyrdom," and we'll deal with that then. There is a real threat now. 2. If the Iranian regime survives, it will emerge harboring fantasies of revenge. And that's exactly why it's critical to decapitate the regime so the Iranian people can disembowel it. The cost is sunk. There's no going back. The worst possible option is to quit while we're ahead and leave them free to become "more radical" (more radical than pouring billions of dollars into a megalomaniacal scheme to destroy Israel, yes?) 3. Even if this creates a "new generation of terrorists," they'll be far weaker. They won't have a major ballistic missile program, or a navy, or an air force, or a nuclear weapons program. Their intentions might be emboldened ("might" is doing a lot of heavy lifting), but their capabilities *will* be diminished and that's what matters. The argument that you shouldn't deal with people who want to kill you now because you might make more people want to kill you in future is extremely weak. Nobody said we should stop bombing Germany because it will just create new Nazis. The argument was, keep bombing so we force the Nazis to surrender, eliminate that existential threat, and build something better out of the rubble. If we keep going till the regime is weak enough to fall, a new and better Middle East will emerge. And if the regime somehow survives, at least it won't have its toys.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 DID IRAN DOWN AN F-35? CENTCOM confirmed that a US F-35 was struck by Iranian fire while flying a combat mission over Iran and was forced to make an emergency landing. The pilot is described as being in stable condition. The incident is under investigation. Iran claims it shot the aircraft down. Here is what else we know: In the hours following the incident, a US Army MH-47G Chinook, registration 19-02916, was tracked on FlightRadar24 flying an extensive series of tight circling patterns over the eastern Saudi Arabian region near Al Jubayl. The flight pattern is consistent with Combat Search and Rescue operations: the kind of search profile you fly when you are looking for a downed aircraft or a pilot on the ground. The IRGC claims the shoot-down occurred at AM Iran time. The Chinook's search activity and the timeline raise questions about whether the F-35 reached a base at all, or whether it came down somewhere over Saudi territory. CENTCOM says it landed safely. A Chinook was circling the Saudi desert in a CSAR pattern. One of those things may not be true.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Day 19 of this war, and the most important thing happening is flying under the radar. While everyone watches the missile and nuclear strikes, Israel is running a deadly parallel campaign, taking out the actual men keeping the regime in power. They just killed the 2 top enforcers behind the brutal crackdowns. But here's the real shocker: Iran’s attacks on the Gulf have completely blown up in their face. The same neighbors who used to defend them are now pushing Washington hard to finish the job and destroy Iran’s military for good. In 3 weeks, they turned their last friends into enemies. Massive strategic fail. Source: WarFronts

@Rlawrence2R @SharrellAnne2 @joekent16jan19 Iran is not different from Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Countries behave better when not pressured. America has put pressure on Iran for 47 years. Hardships of sanctions causes displeasure in society which leads to riots. Leave countries alone, abolish sanctions and the world is happy.

@FallenLedwaba @SharrellAnne2 @joekent16jan19 Indeed. It is best to invest. But nobody's going to invest in a bloody regime that doesn't respect life. Investing is what President Trump does well. He works to set up the climate for successful investments. Let's see what happens. Give it time. Nothing else has worked.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.
