@FalseTenn like how we did yesterday, but with a top #9 and lamine playing. would also get him to push slightly higher up.
the way he was platformed during the world cup qualifiers was ideal, especially that game against turkey
English

@FalseTenn i do wonder how/if optimally platforming him will change his personality
English

@FalseTenn To enable that you either need De Jong/Bernal and Gavi/Fermin in a 4-3-3 so that Pedri will structurally have less zoi so that he will take more risk taking role to get more involved in the ball.
Just a thought 💭
English

@TotalLeoFCB His answer isn't wrong between attacking the space or anchoring the front 5, but it does reveal his natural personality
English

@bullet_gm Ayup. Only has some of Xavi's ballstriking and some of Iniesta's mobility, he can't fully emulate one of them.
He has his own unique path for him to chase.
English

@FalseTenn Ehh like an inside out role? Ig that’s the closest thing😭.
English

@christmasrugb Yeah, definitely something like that. If only there was a word for it
English

@FalseTenn By high 8 not like a 10 but around here moving with balde, ja like Paris does when their Fb moves in Cm moves out, or in or high yk.

English

@Catalan_Soldier My idea of Pedri is very close to yours, but reversed.
To me he's an 8 with the ability to play anywhere in the midfield, but with the intention to attack/bring the ball forward himself.
English

@FalseTenn He's an advanced 8 (LHS) with the ability and intention to play anywhere in the midfield.
English

@christmasrugb Something like that, but not a high 8 either...
Positionally, he isn't as much of a fixed presence either, box to box would be close definition in the English dictionary, but more ball dominant
If there's a definition that mixes B2B and Mezzala, that's how I would define Pedri
English

@FalseTenn He’s definitely an box to box/ high 8 who should be next to a ball winner
English

Mainoo's been so good recently I didn't even notice how good he was this game until I rewatched

@barcathethird "It is a tool/trait he has", is similar to what I mean when I say "he's a DLP by capacity, not nature".
We know Pedri still has another offensive gear in him due to his skill and personality. It's up to the team to support his completeness and Pedri to mature his offensive play.
English

@FalseTenn x.com/i/status/20562… It is a tool/trait he has. He can do it doesn't mean it is his strength. Flick Nerfing Pedri does not mean it is his final form
La Masia Connoisseur 🇰🇪 🇪🇸@barcathethird
@innercircleabe Spot on. But is not merely missue of talent, hr is being platformed while recovering from injuries( Acl) It's about how he reacts in certain situations across the pitch. Pedri has gone a similar fate. Playing as controller btw the lines in 2022, as a goal threat/Attacker...
English

@barcathethird Pedri is a DLP by capacity, but idt it's his true nature. Last season showed his capacity for it very well and it was good for him to rebuild rhythm and confidence by giving him more touches from deep
This season he took up much more risks, whether successfully or unsuccessfully
English

@FalseTenn Stop, just stop. Flawed analysis. Did you watch last season. You are speaking Gibberish
English

@barcathethird This season yes, but I heard that Barcelona let go of Fati's 28 million buy back clause in favor of a sell-on clause and that makes me very sad
English

@FalseTenn No, Fati and Fort were good on loan. We are preparing the for next season and next 10 yrs not just half a season.
English

@FalseTenn The media might get to him they are pushing for the panda man at real Beria
