🇦🇪 Flights in the UAE are still taking off and landing at full speed, even with Iranian missiles flying and active warnings blaring. They refuse to stop because Dubai is the world’s biggest aviation hub, and the cost of not flying doesn't seem worth the price

Emirates EK329 Shenzhen → Dubai today... cabin packed, lots of passengers heading to Dubai and transiting onward. It’s impressive... even with regional tensions, people still trust Emirates and DXB as a safe transit point, and the competitive fares probably help. Shows the airline’s strength and Dubai’s pull as a hub.

The Flightradar24 Gulf airline recovery index, 21 March. Recent totals for Qatar Airways have been adjusted to remove flights into storage at Teruel. There are currently 15 Qatar aircraft at TEV with 5 more aircraft scheduled to move to storage Sunday. flightradar24.com/airport/tev/ar…

@Fahadnaimb Hearing a lot of Emirate flights are empty

Emirates check-in was dead quiet... Pax got nervous thinking maybe the flight was cancelled or something, but nope… the plane is genuinely almost empty. Pax-to-flight-attendant ratio feels like 1:1... IMO: the regional tensions are obviously making people avoid flying through the Middle East right now... understandable, but it makes for the most comfortable long-haul you'd have in ages.

Dubai airport was evacuated after Iranian strikes. Emirates running at 90% capacity on rerouted flights. London → Dubai prices are swinging wildly. This is exactly why flight price prediction matters. fareup.xyz
