I should add to this. No:
- party based games (ultima, wizardry, etc)
- no turn based
- no isometric
- no first person dungeon crawlers (eye of the beholder, etc)

Man, all I want is a good single-player fantasy/medieval RPG where you're like a regular adventurer or something (no named character with a story, however much you can ignore it), character creation of some kind (or similar system), no souls-like or parry/timing combat, no survival junk, no MMORPG stuff. Just a mercenary adventurer exploring and doing quests that you come across, or like finding a dungeon or something and deciding to explore. Crazy this doesn't exist?

Friendly reminder that the creators of disco Elysium cannot utilize their own IP because an investor gained 51% ownership of the company using a backend deal that the creators weren’t made aware of by selling himself a scrap of paper with a doodle on it for $1 and then selling that back to the company for 5 million euro and then systematically firing the people that created the world disco is in from 10+ years before as a modified D&D campaign.
