@ProfRobAnderson So one could theoretically become an attorney in CA, TX, and AR without ever having attended law school, or college for that matter, as California doesn’t require one to attend law school,or college, to become an attorney.

I have my bar license in California. Arkansas does not have reciprocity with California, so I can’t be admitted to Arkansas without taking a bar exam. However, Texas allows California attorneys to become licensed in Texas without taking a bar exam there. And then Arkansas has reciprocity with Texas. So a California-licensed attorney can become licensed in Arkansas without ever taking the Arkansas (or any other) bar exam again by first obtaining a Texas license via admission without examination and then using Arkansas’s admission-on-motion process.

Let’s take race out of it for a minute and look at it from the perspective of someone who isn’t racist. The core argument against DEI is supposed to be that unqualified people are getting positions over more qualified candidates. So what exactly do you call trying to put a fucking reality TV crystal salesman to lead 3.8 million people and a trillion-dollar economy? That’s the hypocrisy people are pointing out.

Creating shade has potential to create more problems than not - the unit needs airflow to expel waste heat - covers can trap hot air, reducing air flow, increasing workload.

This man is in Phoenix, Arizona visiting his daughter. It is 108* there!🥵 He noticed this unit on top of her house and wondered why it isn’t on the ground like most houses. He asked her and she said that was the way it was when they bought the house. Why would this be on top of the roof? I’ve lived in 5 different states and never seen them on the roof. And notice how big it is, it’s huge! Why would they be on the roof? What’s the reasoning? And 108*? Are people really digging a 108* weather? Could you handle that?
