So my friend figured out her baby daddy was using her car to cheat on her while shes at work. She found a condom wrapper under the seat . But instead of arguing she played it cool put a tracker in the car n told him to drop her off like normal. As soon as he dropped her off I pulled up n picked her up and we followed the car so we could she WHO THE GIRL WAS. We followed the car to some apartments parked around the corner and walked the rest of the way so he wouldn’t notice my car . We creeped up like 2 roaches looking through the windshield and saw him getting his SOUL SNATCHED . My friend lost every bit of home training she opened the door n just started SWINGING on the girl . She pull her out the car and the girl TALL than a mf n she start getting down on my friend so I jump in. After one swing connected I KNEW this wasn’t no regular b****. She start tearing BOTH us up at the same time. Come to find out she a whole trans lady. Her baby daddy pull off and LEAVES US helpless in the parking lot . So I took off running to my car cuz at this point this ain’t my business and she should have never called me up for this ridiculousness . She can play Now That’s Tv by her d*mn self. NEVER AGAIN !

I came home this afternoon, ate, and slept for 3 hours straight. The things my eyes saw today. Me to my students: If you're not properly dressed, don't enter my office to ask for results. Minutes later, I see student A wearing his sportswear instead of school uniform. Our eyes meet and hold for a few seconds. I'm not in the mood to talk, so I ignore him and look away. He surely won't dare to enter my office after my warning... so what's the point in talking? Students who are properly dressed come in with their parents and guardians to collect their results. More time passes. Someone walks into my office. I look up. It's Student A... but he looks different. He's not wearing his sportswear anymore. He's wearing the school uniform now. Something seems off about it though. So I let my gaze sweep over him... from head to toe. That's when I see it. His belt is wrapped firmly around his waist, but the trousers look gathered at the waist, like they're much bigger than him. They're also folded at the hem, so it's clear to see they are much longer too. "Whose uniform is this?" I ask him. "It's B's uniform," he tells the truth immediately. "Go call him," I instruct him. He leaves and returns with another student, Student B. I know him. Minutes earlier, he and his aunt had come to pick up his result. He had been wearing his uniform then. He's not wearing it now. But what's confusing is that he's not even wearing Student A's sportswear. I had seen Student A earlier... he had been wearing a blue sportswear when I first saw him. Student B who is standing in front of me, is wearing a different sportswear. "Whose sportswear is this?" I ask Student B. He and Student A exchange a chuckle. "It's C's sportswear," he replies. Again, I ask him to go call Student C. They both return a few minutes later. I look at them, at a loss for words. Student A is wearing Student B's oversized uniform. Student B is wearing Student C's sportswear. And Student C is wearing Student A's undersized sportswear. Me:

@Omojuwa That’s why I’m in support of a lady here who travelled down to Nig for her mum’s burial. Family began to stress her with one senseless bill or the other. Before they know it, the lady retrieved the mum from the mortuary, buried her, then flew back to the UK. Everybody shock!!

One of the most irritating bit of some cultures is how they treat the children or spouses of people that lose their loved ones. It hurts even more when such deceased person lived and died in poverty. Someone dies poor, then you are insisting on the children raising millions that they don’t have, so that you can carry out some ‘traditional’ rights before you bury their loved one. More so when they ask people who don’t even have such money to take care of themselves, and will soon be left alone after the burial. Culture is the way of life of a people at a point in time. ‘At a point in time’ is my emphasis, because not every part of culture deserves to see another sun. This is why I appreciate stubborn people really. When push comes to shove, do what you gotta do!

@Omojuwa Resistance matters. If people don’t automatically give in, it changes the dynamic. Most people scramble to find the money simply to avoid confrontation with those driving that culture.

See raw beauty in its natural state🥰🥰 One man will now come here and say "Yes cornrows are good but they can never compare to what a good wig does to a woman, the leveling up is always top tier" 😏🙄 What other leveling up do we need as a black woman that we don't already have without wearing wigs?🤷‍♀️

@seunosewa @AskMichaelTaiwo There’s also a psychological element to it. When people perceive a bigger threat, they tend to revert to a natural defensive stance. They just went to their feminine instincts.

100%...I see this with immigration applications too. Someone used a method, 1,000 people copy it until USCIS starts to deny that same method.

It’s not “influence,” it’s about how Nigerians approach every opportunity that comes their way — they don’t rest until they abuse it. This is the reason some Nigerians gatekeep some opportunities over fear of abuse when lots of Nigerians know about it. ✅“Banger boys.” ✅“Follow for Follow.” ✅“If you’re trying to earn Elon Musk money, comment under this tweet let’s follow each other (no plan to create value and attract followers - ‘let’s use the follow4follow shortcut’).” ✅Misinformation and Disinformation for engagement ✅“Defamation under the guise of cruise.” I said it a while ago that with the way some Nigerian creators are moving on X because of monetization, what happened to YouTube/blogging (AdSense monetization) will happen to X Payouts. It already happened on TikTok (Live) and Facebook (some types of monetization are now ‘invite only’). Now, X is considering addressing “Ivanka accounts based in Nigeria and distorting political views.” Soon, it will be extremely difficult for a Nigerian account to meet monetization requirements of any platform. A platform introduces monetization, some people will not rest until they abuse it. Then, the platform starts raising the bar and soon enough, it becomes extremely difficult for genuine Nigerian creators to meet the requirements. It’s a cycle of abusing platform policies and then blaming platforms for stifling the growth of Nigerian creators.

Truer words. The problem is people are cashing out and want to continue to cash out.
Wall Street Mav@WallStreetMav

I was posting here on X for years before monetization. I will still be posting here on X if they cancel the entire monetization program. If Elon and @nikitabier decide to make changes to how they incentivize content in different countries, that is fine. It should not change how you post. Everyone needs to stop worrying about X ad revenue and just focus on having a great account on X.

@Hauwa_L No they are not uniformed. People are advocating publicly about killing disabled kids. They know about disabilities, they just choose to be deliberately wicked

@misty_abisola This is very correct. They still look down on people with SCD calling them sicklers or "beating will correct that behavior" of a neurodivergent or callong people with down syndrome "imbecile". They choose stigma on purpose.

I disagree. A lot of us are not uninformed. We are just selfish and we do not see persons with disabilities as fellow human beings. Information is very very available, people are being corrected every day. Disabled people are speaking up, educating and sharing their realities. You correct language, people will argue back. You explain respectful alternatives, people will tell you “how can you tell me I can’t say ALBINO anymore when it’s in the dictionary?” You advocate for better treatment, people deflect to “everyone is suffering.” I run a disability advocacy and talent management agency, and I’ve seen this up close. We represent persons with disabilities and the pushback is constant. We see what skit makers do with disability on social media, turning their real experiences into harmful jokes and stereotypes for engagement. Thousands of people and even our favorite celebrities are always laughing at these useless skits. We corrected one skit maker in January, and till today, people are still in the comment section defending the harmful content and insulting us. We @mistyglamcorp organized an advocacy pageant last year for persons with albinism, and some brands asked us why we are wasting time on inclusive pageantry because “it doesn’t sell.” We are currently working on a runway show for models with disabilities, and the things brand managers say behind the scenes when we pitch to them to sponsor the event will shock you. That’s not lack of information. I’m working on a free dictionary of disability-inclusive words/ language and during the testing phase, someone was arguing about why they can never stop using the word, “RETARD.” My team and I also have a digital platform we are building for disability education called @IncluNorm and investors directly tell us “this is not necessary.” You cannot educate people who are just selfish and mean. This is where laws, policies and consequences have to come in. Private individuals can only do what we can. There has to be real consequences for exclusion, and poor treatment of persons with disabilities.
