Watched “Where the Crawdads Sing” this past weekend because I found out it takes place in coastal NC and multiple times in the movie the characters used the phrase “driving over to Asheville” like it was along the coast when in reality it’s at least 6 hours from the beach

So the 1984 movie Red Dawn. Its a cult classic, a tale of Russians para dropping into Colorado and taking over Aurora by kicking out the Venezuelan gangs and the Hells Angels. But did you know the idea inspired an Avalon Hill board game, Fortress America? I've played Axis & Allies hundreds of times, and Shogun a few dozen, but never played Fortress America.
