So... does Japan have the equivalent of an NC-17 rating? Because a theatrical release for Gigant is WILD.

@PeopleOfTheInt For the love of God, stop putting anime or animated shows on western top whatever of all time. Be serious. Can't have ONLY Death Note or Shingeki, if you're actually gonna do this. Feels as terribly informed as some other shows on this list. Just keep it locked to live action.

@DullahTheking2 Blood On The Dance Floor, although it's a remix album and should not count (despite three banger with the title track, Ghosts and Is It Scary). If we remove that album and the two post humously released then I'r say Invincible. It's still great, just his most mellow album.

In January of 2016, three Black Women claimed they were jumped, beaten, and called racial slurs by a group of "Racist White Men."
Campus rallies were immediately organized.
One problem. The Bus's Surveillance Video...
Turns out it was the THREE BLACK WOMEN who did the attacking.
What a shocking twist! 🤯

@SirBylHolte Sorry, but regqrdless of all The Odyssey discourse, the movie will do fine. It probably won't do gangbusters, but 800 mil seems beyond plausible.
English

Fun Fact: Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” will have exactly TWO WEEKS at the top of the box office before it gets absolutely SLAMMED by “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”
And that’s assuming word-of-mouth doesn’t sink it on day one.
And here's the thing:
Nolan spent $250+ million on production and another $150+ million on advertising —so to recover ~$400M in actual studio revenue (after exhibitors fees), the movie would generally need:
ABOUT $800M WORLDWIDE GROSS…
...IN TWO WEEKS!
This is what happens when you prioritize DEI checkboxes over giving the audience what they actually want.
Can’t wait for the copium when it opens soft and legs die instantly.

@OocTobeyM Warner did not cut it. Matt Reeves himself cut it. The reason being, this scene took away from The Riddler. Once the Joker is in play, who would want to watch the rest of the film with the Dano Riddler?
English

@RealXavier011 Nowhere near as precise, nor does it have the lens that one needs.

@DevirManga_SP Nozoki Ana. Sé que no va a suceder, pero si se atreviesen a traer este título, serían unos verdaderos héroes. Gracias.

@disparutoo C'mon Disparu... Lupita is very attractive, she's just not Helen of Troy. That is all. But no need to trash her, when she is genuinely a very beautiful woman.
English

@Bernstein Yeah and the endless butt shots of him didn't help either. He was seen as a weak sauce Achilles, even in a post Fight Club era. One had to be alive at the time to understand.
English

Again: 41 year old guy here. At the time Troy came out, Pitt’s casting and performance were considered a movie-ruining disaster.
Joseph Kahn@JosephKahn
I watched TROY again and I think the problem is Brad Pitt is the definitive Achilles. Anything below his feral physical perfection comes off like weak ass cosplay. Every man is Elliot Page compared to this guy.

@Jantar127 9/11, Sony didn't push for it cause it was a 30 mil record aaaand, they wanted his half of the Sony catalogue, no Unbreakable video, etc.
English

@MoviesThatMaher Three, but waiting for a chance to watch one last time.
English

@PurpyNFL Yeah, I remember back in the day everybody said it was mediocre at best. Thing is, we were coming off of Gladiator, LOTR and even Braveheart. Other than the first Achilles duel, the movie was boring for the audience. No spectacle. This one suffered the same fate as Alexander.
English

I promise this was regarded as a terrible movie for the first 20 years of its existence
Ned Stark@FantasyWorldW1
Morons and disingenuous actors on this site are trying to argue that this is a terrible movie. Insane.
