For the first time all week, the Big 12 Championship scenario is just as simple as the SEC! BYU is *eliminated*! A BYU win sends Iowa State to the Championship. A Houston win sends Colorado.

After four games today, there are now 5 potential XII championship matchups out of the 40 scenarios. K-State, Baylor, Texas Tech, and West Virginia have been eliminated from title contention.

From .@FbFlowchart - This may be all of the possible Big 12 championship game scenarios today. Things can really start to get interesting if Baylor wins. Only 1 scenario where Iowa State doesn't make it if they win.

@FbFlowchart If I read this correct, if Colorado wins, and BYU loses, they are in the title game regardless of all other results.

@BoscoesBoys Both are correct. It is possible for BYU to win and K-State makes it, but in all of those scenarios Houston winning would also send K-State to the championship. So the bottom corner of the chart would have looked like this which would have been silly

@ipopStats I wrote code to simulate the scenarios and break the ties for me. I used draw.io to make the flowchart

@CFroetschn10792 @BoscoesBoys Yes, there are scenarios where K-State can make it with a BYU win. But in all of those K-State will have clinched the berth before the BYU/Houston game. All 5 of those terminate with the line from K-State to the "in" box. The chart is accurate
