She’s getting an LLM not a JD. There’s a 90% chance she’s a foreign attorney getting an LLM so she can sit for the bar in one of the select states that allow it. This is a permanent immigration scheme for her, and she’s playing everyone for dumb.

Our immigration policies need to be reformed to allow the best and brightest to be educated in the USA and stay here to create value for our country. I had never heard of this case before and I just read this article and the associated comments, we really have come so far since peak woke. I was a sophomore in college in 2018 and I remember several basketball players (DIII) getting a 6 game suspension for throwing out tortillas and wearing sombreros during a date auction.
