My day is made. Just finished a meeting where I was told I was doing a great job in my STEM advocacy work. Especially in the realm of advocating for Black folks in STEM. Most times I feel like this added labor goes unnoticed, so for it to be acknowledged and praised is amazing.😊

@JasonCMarvin My ‘like’ is a “yup…” A common interaction for me pre-covid was someone saying “hello” in different Asian languages then laughing and bowing. Post-covid: “go back to China” / throw stuff at me. Recently asked if I spoke English. So far nothing in #AAPIHeritageMonth so better?
