@maddl29 @JezCorden I rarely practice it for the same reason of time efficiency and not wanting to punish the other players with waiting as well but it feels good to put a mage when they pull for the tank or someone can't handle thought of wasted rage during mana regen

@DeschainDark @sugarfloor1 I just want them gone so the original intent with the art can be appreciated in as pure as a form as possible. I don't think AI should be the first solution, I'd still rather have a human who can understand nuances in a way AI currently hasnt been able adapt it for me if possible

@sugarfloor1 @Felaryn They even brag about making changes to "improve" the original work of the Japanese authors. They are leeches that are going to be replaced by AI translation. Rightfully and not too soon enough, if you ask me.

@sugarfloor1 I just hope that over time people realize how ridiculous and disrespectful it is to change a creator's work by completely changing how they look or sound. I personally don't mind fans making "what if" scenarios but unfortunately some people don't respect the creator's work at all

@sugarfloor1 I agree that adapting jokes or explaining the intricacies of something unique to the culture through translator's notes for foreign audiences is a good thing and generally it's done respectfully. Unfortunately some people abuse this given freedom and intentionally change it.

@sugarfloor1 Unfortunately for some people visually altering the work isn't enough and people in charge of translating and dubbing to English will completely change the original dialogue to include their own politics rather than adhering as closely to the original's own dialogue. I hate it.

@BellularGaming Maybe its mean to say it but the writing or I guess acting as well was on the wall during the Alpha/Beta as voice lines and dialogue that is out of place or simply incorrect was just allowed to exist. They say nothing is being compromised but something clearly isn't correct here.

@covingtown Its a interesting gimmick, not a setting I would actually use in actual gameplay or get much value from regularly. This should definitely be as opt-in and idiot proof as possible as this is definitely going to make some person get mad at developers for something they didn't do.

I expect every artist and art director in game dev to be upset about this, since it replaces their intentional hard work and vision with an AI slop filter.

Technically its impressive but I dont think people are going to really like this outside of seeing it as a funny filter you put on for fun because a lot is lost in translation and games simply arent designed with hyper-realistic visuals in mind. Starfield does look better though.

@HUN2R He's right that you cant just know instantly if a game is good or not by playing it for 15 minutes when it isn't designed the way some games are for quick 15 minute matches but its the job of the people making and selling the game to communicate the vision and details effectively
