Today, my husband and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary through FaceTime. It's been 673 days since we filed our legal documentation, which has all been verified and approved for a spousal visa. Our interview was on January 8, 2026 and hit with the ban. #removethevisaban

I would ask that you fight for the spouses and immediate family members of immigrants whom have already paid all fees, provided all documentation, and completed interviews but can’t be granted a visa because of the racist ban in place. I’ve been waiting 668 days for my husband to come home. We were at the finish line when the ban was slapped on his country 8 days before his interview.

The Trump Admin has frozen USCIS processing for Iranian nationals, putting 12,000+ students at risk of losing legal status. Forcing them back to Iran now puts their lives at risk from regime repression and an active war. @SenMarkey and I are demanding immediate action.

My husband and I have been waiting 667 days for the approval of his immigrant visa. Everything has been paid for and approved. Our last step was the interview on 01/08/26. That’s when he got the letter about the ban immediately after the interview questions. The ban is the only thing that’s stopping our family from being together. What’s the point in doing it legally if that doesn’t work either!?!?!

It's been 661 days since my husband and I submitted our CR-1 visa application. Our 2nd wedding anniversary is on May 4, 2026, which we will have to spend apart once again. We have paid $1070.00 in fees plus the cost of medical exams, a background check, and traveling to the Dakar embassy due to the embassy in The Gambia not completing interviews. All documents have been approved. The interview was even completed. The only thing holding us back from being together in the US is THE BAN. I need @realDonaldTrump , @marcorubio @Toddblanche3 , @SecMullinDHS, and @DNIGabbard to do the right thing and remove spousal and family relatives from this ban for petitioners who have proved with I-864 that their spouse/family member WILL NOT be a public service charge, and the background check has proven that my husband is in good standing with the law. You could possibly even grant temporary visas for spouses/family members, then convert to permanent once the ban is officially over. Why punish everyone? We legally followed the proper steps and completed the proper documentation. Isn't that what you all want?!?! Now we see why people come here illegally. The legal way is a lengthy, low-urgency process. Whose collecting these fees? What are you really using them for? We PRE PAY for a service, but we never know when it will be completed or when it will take place. You all have spouses. Just imagine only being able to see your spouse for 2 weeks out of a year having to use all of your vacation time from work and its all out of your control. I pray this makes a difference for every spouse and/or family relative who is in my same shoes. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
