@Mr_Husky1 Go & enjoy this lovely holiday, but say when we’re back we will talk about this & things will have to change, don’t ruin a great experience for one child’s mistake, let him know it’s ok to F up, but not acceptable ! ❤️
@Mr_Husky1 If this is a one - off, he probably needs the trip more than you realize and family connection. But if this is a pattern that is a different story.
No, I stopped going to Tim’s about four years ago. It used to be a place that stood for something that represented Canada, clean, welcoming, and staffed by local kids from the high school or familiar faces from the neighborhood. It felt like a community hub, good coffee, great service, and hometown pride.
But over the last five years, I hate to say it, it started to feel more like a run-down coffee shop in the Middle East, barely holding on to its business license. The atmosphere changed. The standard dropped. And the connection to the community? Gone.
But the final straw, the moment I walked away for good, was during the era, I call "The Great Con". That’s when Tim Hortons announced that unvaccinated children would be banned from attending Tim’s Camps. That told me everything I needed to know about where their values were and where they were headed. Unfortunately, those values simply weren't Canadian value anymore.
@PicturesFoIder Sometimes these things happen around a busy time like studying or post exams when people want to spend time away from school. I’ve had profs invite the class with both good and bad turnout for things.
@GailVazOxlade Someone else got shot and died? Who? Where were they sitting? And also, why aren’t people running away? Why does he stop mid-getaway to fist pump? I don’t understand these reactions to legit gun fire!
Woman has screaming meltdown on her boyfriend at the Fort Lauderdale Airport in Florida.
The boyfriend sat in misery as the woman humiliated him in front of travelers.
“You’re a f**king loser, I hope you drop de*d.”
“You dumbf**ker! Because of you. Like literally because of you. You are the most r**arded person I have ever met in my life.”
Run. Run, and never look back.
@HalifaxReTales I got the press release at 6 PM and friends i know in Fall River received an alert about 630/645 So I think that was pretty good but that’s just me.
Your thoughts, behaviors, and reactions are habits that were created in childhood. “This is who I am” actually means: “this is who I was conditioned to be”—and we can change at anytime.
