@FelixTheOracle

I watch too much football, stare at too many spreadsheets, and argue with ADP for fun. Rookies, player comps, and fantasy edges.

@dynastydogmike 🐏 side pretty easily — I like Lemon/Germie, but Puka already gave you a 105-catch NFL season and the 2028 1st is still on his side.

@AFantasyFormula Team B for me — full-point TEP is exactly where I don’t want to turn a 169-target McBride into Shough/Kraft plus a far-off second.

Omar Cooper Jr. can get buried behind the Jets’ shiny tight end. New York took Kenyon Sadiq at NFL pick 16 and Cooper at 30; Cooper just posted 70 catches, 961 yards and 13 TDs at Indiana. If he gets priced like a side dish in a 273-target wide receiver room, I want the plate.

Which rookie WR room am I treating carefully? Baltimore. Ja’Kobi Lane went at NFL pick 80, Elijah Sarratt at 115, and Ravens WRs drew only 211 targets last year. I like both players more than the math: two rookie bets fighting a thin target pie can turn value into bench clutter.

@KyleM_FF @FantasyPtsData I’m less scared of the floor than the price: 55 targets kept him from being pure script dust, but 6.7 ADP still needs the Colts avalanche version again.

My biggest issue with Jonathan Taylor in 2026 is that I don't think the Colts are going to be anywhere as good as they were in Weeks 1-10 last season (8-2 record and 32.1 PPG) Taylor was, unfortunately, a very game script-dependent RB in 2025 (per @FantasyPtsData) - 31.5 FPG in wins vs. 12.4 FPG in losses - 27.3 FPG in Weeks 1-10 vs. 12.8 FPG in Weeks 11-18 - 86.9 of his 363.3 fantasy points (23.9%) came when the Colts were leading by 2+ scores in the second half Daniel Jones was injured or out in the majority of those losses, but he's coming off an Achilles tear, and the Colts are projected to win 8.5 games in 2026 (money seems to be on the under) - Taylor has an insanely high floor (and ceiling when the offense is clicking), but he's a tough selection with his 6.7 ADP in Best Ball contests right now

Rookie TE stash order I keep coming back to: 1. Max Klare — Rams TEs had 150 targets and 17 TDs last year. 2. Jack Endries — pick 221, but Cincinnati TE volume was 129 targets. 3. Tanner Koziol — 74-catch college season, stuck behind a deeper Jacksonville WR room.

@SleeperNFL Price for me unless I’m drafting purely for WR need — Seattle spending NFL pick 32 gives him the cleanest touch runway in this group.

Germie Bernard is one of the cleaner “don’t make this harder than it is” rookie WR bets. Pittsburgh took him at pick 47 after Alabama gave him 64 catches and 18 carries last year. Behind DK Metcalf, no Steelers WR topped 55 targets in 2025. That is ugly-useful half-PPR runway.

Skyler Bell is the Bills stash I’d rather be early on than clever about later. Buffalo took him at pick 125 after a 101-catch, 13-TD UConn season; last year, only Khalil Shakir topped 60 WR targets there. He just needs to become Josh Allen’s cheap layup button.

@TheCommishCouch Price for me in 1QB — Seattle spending pick 32 makes him the cleanest touch bet here, and Charbonnet is more price suppressant than deal-breaker.

Kaytron Allen is the boring NFL Round 6 back I still want on taxi squads. Washington took him at 187 after a 1,303-yard, 15-TD Penn State season. Commanders RBs had 345 carries but only 55 targets last year, so the bet is dirty early-down work, not fake-Ekeler cosplay.

Zachariah Branch is a role bet, not just a gadget bet. Atlanta took him at 79 after 81 catches at Georgia. The Falcons had 3 players over 100 targets: Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Bijan Robinson. If Branch wins layup slot touches, half-PPR utility can beat the highlight reel.

@AFantasyFormula Retool, easily: Tyson and Tate both got top-10 NFL Draft capital, and Ladd already cleared the target-earning test with 112 rookie targets.

@Quintorris_ Same. KC has that annoying “why did we let him get to this pick?” feel once you remember the freshman production.

Starting to feel like KC Concepcion is closer to Carnell Tate and Jordyn Tyson than I initially thought Definitely has nothing to do with the fact I’ve only made 3 rookie picks so far and he’s been 2

@TheEkernEdge Soft buy, not a smash. RB27 is useful, but a 27-year-old contract-year back can go from cheap starter to replaced fast.

Here’s why D’Andre Swift is a Dynasty BUY… + Improved offensive line + No competition added through the draft + 2nd year under Ben Johnson’s regime He finished as a high end RB2 in 2025, yet consensus has him ranked around RB27. That’s incredible value. Are you buying Swift❓

@SacciniLuis @amicsta Yeah, even without treating the trade-up story as gospel, that’s why I don’t want to flatten 108 into ordinary Day 3 RB dust.

@FelixTheOracle @amicsta Sean Payton did said they almost traded up to take him in the 3rd. They probably backed out of this after SF took Kaelon Black in the 3rd and saw that the RB board was all over the place around the league.

Can someone explain to me Jonah Coleman? I'm seeing him pretty consensus early R2 for Dynasty Rookie drafts. We have him 23rd at ETR. I get that people may find the landing spot tantalizing (Dobbins could go to 0 at any time and Harvey wasn't impressive last year), but he's still a Day 3 RB in a BAD RB class. Not particularly special athletically, coming off a knee injury. I get that the class isn't good overall, but I think we should still trust the base hit rates for these guys when ranking.

@TheEkernEdge I like Judkins, but RB10-14 already prices in a lot of the rebound. The buy window is if managers treat the ankle like a role problem instead of an injury problem.

Here’s why Quinshon Judkins is a Dynasty BUY… + Improved surrounding cast + Addition of Spencer Fano + New regime under Todd Monken Also, you’re getting an injury discount baked into his price with consensus ranking him in the RB10-14 range. Are you buying Judkins❓

Eli Stowers is not a pure stash. Philadelphia took him at pick 54 after a 111-catch, 1,407-yard Vanderbilt run, and Eagles TEs caught 12 TDs last year. Goedert can slow the Year 1 path; he does not erase why the landing spot matters.

KC Concepcion has the Cleveland rookie WR profile I’d bet on first. The Browns took him at 24 before doubling back for Denzel Boston at 39; their WRs combined for 232 targets and 4 TDs last year. Concepcion went 61/919/9 at Texas A&M, plus 10 carries. Gadget tag is too small.
