anyone who talks badly about demon slayer is forcing the hate at this point. it’s a shonen that literally perfected the formula. a simple story with easy concepts to understand, life lessons, & deep, touching moments. at its core, it’s about a boy who trains with everything to turn his sister back into a human… then the animation is beautiful too. what’s so hard to understand?

The more I think about it, the more I understand why the WB executives regretted releasing it. And honestly, while I do think it’s good that a director’s vision finally got released, I just wish it hadn’t spawned one of the most obnoxious fanbases imaginable. And Snyder constantly refusing to tell parts of that fanbase to relax or humble themselves honestly makes him his own worst enemy sometimes. He hasn’t made a genuinely great film in years, yet some fans still act like Hollywood revolves entirely around him and his version of DC.
