I read and read and read I don't know how to respond to you See, when you want to respond to me especially Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi rivalry.... "Don't come with you rivalry heart. It's good to be whatever fan that you are, but don't come with the mind that I don't like Ronaldo or Messi "If you do, you will miss it" I am not telling you that you cannot disagree with. I am not telling you my opinion is sacrosanct Tobi, I am telling you to please read to understand, not read to reply What you wrote has no coordination with all I have written I quoted a Barcelona/Messi fan post. I love what I read and he was on point Let me just put this for you, so it won't be like I ignored some of your write up First, when Cristiano Ronaldo arrived in Spain, Barcelona were LaLiga Champions That was the beginning of Barcelona's super team Second, Ronaldo won the LaLiga in 2011/2012, so Barcelona didn't win the league thrice in a row that you wrongly said Barcelona's six trophies in a year in 2009, got to Madrid and Perez badly, at the end of the season, Manuel Pellegrini was sacked.... Not that he did really bad, I think Madrid finished two points behind Barcelona in 2009/2010 if I am not wrong Pellegrini was building a team. 2009/2010 season was the assembling of the Galacticos Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Karim Benzema, Xabi Alonso, Raul Albio, etc Pellegrini couldn't work immediate magic, Perez wasn't ready to be patient and brought in Jose Mourinho at the end of the season Two seasons into Jose Mourinho's reign, Madrid won the league 2011/2012 season was a war Uncle Tobi, please, always try to understand before you respond You jam-packed this your response

How is Real Madrid in disarray when they actually just won the La Liga title back-to-back before his arrival? Upon his arrival, they lost the La Liga title thrice in a row to Barcelona. How is that even a rivalry? He lost the Champions League final to Messi, came to Madrid and lost the League title thrice in a row, and you are saying he is the best and don't think there is someone out there better than him. The same person who just dunked on him in the Champions League final. Then he came to his league, and he balled on him thrice in a row again winning every major trophy and individual award. Before Ronaldo's arrival, Real Madrid were dominating the league but wanted to win the Champions League. But it got worse after his arrival, as they couldn't even defend the La Liga title they had been winning and were shambolic in the Champions League. It took him almost 5 years in Madrid before they finally won the Champions League, and that is after multiple reinforcements that cost billions of Euros. Thank God some of us actually watched Ronaldo when he left Manchester United after saying he was a slave. There is an article to support that. If you are in doubt, research it. Lastly, it was never a rivalry. Messi has always been miles ahead. The media just want something to talk about.

@boblaporta They were a team in disarray. Even with the league wins, they were constantly eliminated in the RO16 of the UCL for 6 consecutive seasons.

I love your analysis.... Let me add some turn of events to it Cristiano Ronaldo had a dream, he wanted to be the GOAT 🐐 of football Aside the from his confidence, he knew he has the talent to become the best of the best However, he never saw Lionel Messi coming or let me say, he knew there are good players but he didn't see any sort of rivalry coming that would be this intense Ronaldo didn't move to Real Madrid in 2009 because of any rivalry, he moved because Madrid was his dream club On getting to Spain, he met an unstoppable team in Barcelona, while Madrid was in disarray Madrid and Barcelona were rivals and that also automatically triggered the Ronaldo vs Messi rivalry They were matching each other week in, week out but Messi was winning the titles and the awards Of course it got to Ronaldo....He wanted to be the best but he is seeing another player ahead of him The media had already created the rivalry. Madrid and Barcelona were rivals It will get to anybody, if we reverse the case too, it will get to Messi too However, Ronaldo didn't become 'arrogant' because of that. He already sees himself as the best from the beginning of his career The 'arrogant tag' didn't come in Madrid, it started while he was at Manchester United What made the matter worse was that the Ronaldo was being maligned by the media Two things were happening at the same time Ronaldo being maligned by the media and Lionel Messi winning the titles and awards It could run anybody crazy It's one thing if my rival is winning, maybe I might not have problem with it but it's another thing to be slandered by the media Ronaldo was not winning the awards, yet, they are coming for him? This media thing was a very big issue, a big one at that Meetings were held, some things were resolved When Ronaldo won the 2013 Ballon d'Or unexpectedly, it was a big relief for him He cried on that day, even Gerard Pique was happy for him Piquu said; "He's got a reputation for being a tough guy, being above it all, so it was good that he had that reaction. "He really wanted it, he'd suffered for it and he got it. I like that. "People base their opinion on gestures or comments without really knowing anything "I should say that from what I've seen recently he's changed a bit, but personally I like the guy" After 2013, things changed, Madrid became better, they ruled Europe and CR7 started winning the awards However, Ronaldo's personality was still a big issue within the media There is a way they wanted him to behave, but not CR7, you can't control him I must also add that some of his words can be sometimes ambiguous which they use against him continuously Let me just stop there for now.... I could write a whole movie about CR7 vs LM10 matter I was there like mad

@saddestboyalyv @K_Stebb @eugene_ken4 @aflredFCB The 2010 Argentine squad had an average age of 27.1 years old. In contrast, France in 2018 had an average age of 26 years old, Brazil in 2002 had an average age of 26.7 years and Spain in 2010 had an average age of 27.3 years. Your age argument is flawed again.

FG Increases WAEC, NECO Examination Fee From N27,500 to N50,000 for 2027 The Federal Government has approved a new examination fee of N50,000 for candidates sitting the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and National Examinations Council (NECO) Senior School Certificate Examinations (SSCE), with the new rate taking effect from 2027. The approval was contained in a June 18 statement signed by Adeniji Ibrahim, Director of Senior Secondary Education at the Federal Ministry of Education. It followed a request by WAEC for an upward review of the SSCE registration fee. The new fee represents an 82% increase from the current N27,500 charged per candidate. According to Ibrahim, the decision was reached after a March 31, 2026 meeting between the Minister of Education and examination bodies, where the need to review examination fees was discussed. He said the minister also directed both WAEC and NECO to adopt a uniform examination fee. “You may recall that at a meeting of examination bodies held with the honourable minister of education on 31 March, 2026, where the need for upward review of examination fees was discussed, the honourable minister directed that WAEC and NECO should adopt a uniform fee for the conduct of WAEC and NECO SSCE,” the statement read. It added, “Consequently, I am directed to convey the honourable minister of education’s approval of the sum of fifty thousand naira (N50,000.00) only, as the new examination fee per candidate, with effect from NECO SSCE (Internal), 2027.” The ministry said the directive should be communicated to all relevant stakeholders.

This Bellingham vs Pedri debate reminds me so much of the Lampard vs Iniesta debate. You’re comparing two completely different interpretations of what a world-class midfielder should be. Bellingham, like Lampard, is a midfielder who wins you games through actions everyone can see. Goals, decisive moments, late runs into the box, intensity, leadership, ball recoveries, driving runs through midfield, he imposes himself on matches. Even when he isn’t dictating the tempo, you feel his presence because he’s constantly affecting both boxes. Pedri, like Iniesta, wins games in a more subtle way. He controls the speed of the match, always offers an angle, escapes pressure with one touch, finds spaces others don’t see, and makes the entire team function better. His influence isn’t always reflected in goals or assists, but if you watch the game closely, you’ll realize almost every good attack starts or flows through him. That’s why these debates can’t end. Some people value the midfielder who decides games with goals, physical dominance, and match-winning moments. Others value the one who controls every minute of the game with intelligence, technique, and composure. Football needs both profiles. One gives you control, the other gives you decisive moments. One orchestrates the game, the other changes it in an instant. The biggest mistake is judging one by the standards of the other. You don’t criticize Pedri because he doesn’t score like Bellingham, just as you wouldn’t criticize Bellingham because he doesn’t play exactly like Pedri. They’re trying to achieve different things on the pitch. It’s the same reason Lampard and Iniesta were debated for years. Different profiles, different strengths, both world class. The answer usually says more about the type of midfielder you appreciate than which player is objectively better.

This Pedri and Bellingham chat just because of a few goals is laughable, we saw both of them in the Euros, Nations League and La Liga and we know who’s better
