Millwall have never had a season in the Premier League and instead we’re watching Southampton crawl back there again. 2-0 up at Blackburn. 4th. Right in the automatic race. Millwall would’ve brought chaos. Southampton bring absolutely nothing.

The objection to Russell Martin under this thread astounds me.
Obviously has many faults as a manager, but he has a promotion on his CV, a clear style of play, and good man-management skills.

We know Tonda Eckert’s Saints will aim for three points - can go fifth by winning both games in hand - but I think it’s must-not-lose rather than must-win. Energy levels a factor? That being said it’s a lovely pitch unlike at West Brom, so I’m hoping it’s an open game.

Absolutely the biggest leap forward is his calmness and mentality, I think. He’s always said that he plays with his heart on his sleeve, it’s no doubt taken him so far. But you have to keep your head at the top level. He looks confident now, someone others can turn to.

Just got home from tonight’s game at Wembley and I understand it wasn’t are strongest team but then players tonight have more than likely played themselves out of the World Cup squad!! How Trent isn’t in this squad is unbelievable, number 9 options are a serious issue!

So just because I’ve won possession of the bag of air it means I can break someone’s leg in two without consequences? I could end someone’s career purely just because I’ve won the ball and it’s a ‘good tackle’ without consequence.
