We are grateful to Colegio CAD in Uruguay for their leadership in addressing the dangers of drugs and for the opportunity to be part of this important international conversation. At the event, ARMOUR Families Chairman Kamal Bherwani participated in the program, helping highlight the urgent need for global collaboration to prevent the spread of synthetic drugs. His commitment to disciplined leadership and strong governance helps ensure our mission is sustainable and built for long-term impact. Beyond his professional work, he is active in wellness initiatives and mentoring, has completed 6 marathons, and enjoys boating and time with his 4 children. 🔷We are also honored to have Dr. Dimitri Kusnezov, Vice President at the Nuclear Threat Initiative, where he leads the FutureSafe: AI and Emerging Technology initiative. Experienced Leadership Guiding Prevention At ARMOUR Families, we believe bold prevention requires experienced leadership — and we are honored to have two extraordinary leaders helping guide our mission. 🔷Linda Gibbs serves as Principal for Social Services at Bloomberg Associates, where she advises mayors across the country on innovative urban solutions. Her distinguished career includes serving as New York City’s Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services, where she oversaw initiatives addressing poverty, juvenile justice, homelessness, and public health. She also served as Commissioner of Homeless Services and held senior leadership roles in the Administration for Children’s Services and the Office of Management and Budget. Linda brings deep expertise in systems change, cross-sector collaboration, and evidence-based policy — insight that is critical as we work to prevent fentanyl poisoning and protect families nationwide. 🔷We are also proud to have Tom Allon on our board. Tom is the Founder and Publisher/GM of City & State, the premier media platform covering politics and policy in New York and Pennsylvania.
