I recently read a post by Max Blumenthal on Grayzone claiming Israeli casualties in Hamas attack resulted from orders by high-ranking Israeli officials. After analyzing the “article”, I found Blumenthal manipulated media reports to create a false narrative. #GrayzoneisLayerzone

@glcarlstrom Iran denies attacking Oman. Qatar is a very legitimate target as a US vassal.

Qatar didn't join the Abraham Accords, it strove to maintain good relations with Iran, it even got bombed by Israel last year. Iran is attacking it anyway Oman tried to mediate between America and Iran. Iran is attacking it anyway Also: if the advice here is for countries to prioritize good relations with their neighbors rather than embroiling themselves in conflicts a thousand kilometers away, perhaps Iran should have tried heeding that advice?
Trita Parsi@tparsi

I was always stunned by the lunacy of the Abraham Accords from an Emirati perspective. The UAE's conflict with Iran is far more resolvable than Israel's conflict with Iran. By joining the Abraham Accords and explicitly becoming a member of Israel's anti-Iran bloc, the UAE essentially attached itself to Israel's conflict with Iran - even though Israel is 1000 miles from Iran, while the UAE is only 50 miles from Iran's shores. The UAE made itself a frontline state in Israel's fight with Iran. Abu Dhabi is now paying the price for this mistake. Geography is ensuring that the key decisions are made elsewhere - while it pays the highest price.

@FlyingRadical @glcarlstrom Interesting comparison, but lacking. Mexico doesn't need Chinese bases on its territory because it knows it's neighbors are not a threat. Qatar, on the other hand, really needs US bases and protection because it's in a rough neighborhood, and the major bully is Iran.

@glcarlstrom Qatar hosts the largest US base in the region. Since you’re obviously intellectually challenged, imagine this: — China builds a huge base in Mexico - its HQ for the Americas — China attacks the US, including from its assets in Mexico — Is Mexico any innocent bystander?

A few questions, Tommy, as your comments seem to flatten a complex policy discussion. Nuance matters here. 1. If the said fatwa genuinely prohibits nuclear weapons, how do you reconcile that with Iran enriching uranium to levels widely associated with a military nuclear programme and establishing secret nuclear facilities? 2. On the conventional front, given your 2035 timeline, at what point, in your view, should the US have acted? Would waiting until Iran reached full weapons capability, while continuing to expand its proxy network across the region, have made the situation more stable or more dangerous? 3. More broadly, do you believe delaying confrontation with a hostile regime that openly declares its wishes to destroy other countries and develop conventional and unconventional capabilities to achieve that reduces the risk of conflict, or increases the eventual cost, as some argue was the case before World War II?

I understand when trash tier Free Palestine accounts pretend to not know Hezbollah was uninvolved in this war until it tried to slaughter Jewish civilians with missiles. I expect my senator to. Elizabeth Warren has access to security briefings. Lebanon isn’t under attack, Hezbollah is. The legit government of Lebanon supports these efforts. This is a trash take from someone I am ashamed I supported.
Elizabeth Warren@SenWarren

Pay attention to Lebanon. Trump and Netanyahu started a regional war in the Middle East, creating a humanitarian disaster. And now, the Israeli army has killed over 1,000 people in Lebanon—about 20% of them are kids. Congress should not bankroll this escalating war of choice.

A bogus argument in Western media is that Hezbollah started in 1982 as a reaction to that year's Israeli invasion of Lebanon. That's not true. Hezbollah emerged as the Islamic Revolution's extension in Lebanon, aiming to create an Islamic republic there. The slogan we chanted as kids was "No Eastern Beirut, no Western Beirut, an Islamic republic." Also, Hezbollah's first dozen attacks (save for one) all targeted Iraqi or American interests across Lebanon (Iraqi Embassy, US Embassy, Marine barracks) and in the region (US Embassy in Kuwait and the Kuwaiti Emir). Attacking Iran's enemies in Kuwait is hardly a reaction to anything Israeli. Save for one or two attacks, Hezbollah launched its organized campaign against Israel in Lebanon in 1989, mainly because the Iraq-Iran War had ended a year earlier. With the Lebanese civil war concluding in 1991, Hezbollah needed its war with Israel to justify its continued armament as a militia. Anyone expect all the American experts on NYT and NPR to know this? Or at least make some effort to research it? If they did, the blame wouldn't fall on the "White Man, colonialist, Israel." US media has abandoned its investigative role and adopted an indoctrinating one.

BREAKING: It’s now confirmed that yesterday’s arson attack on a drone manufacturing plant in Pardubice, Czechia had nothing to do with the Israeli defense tech company Elbit Systems as initially claimed. The drones were being produced for Ukraine. Several attacks have been carried out by “anti-Israel activists” against European defense companies which provide weapons to Ukraine. It seems that Russian security services are using a combination of agents and anti-Israeli useful idiots in Europe to attack companies selling or donating weapons to Ukraine. 🇨🇿🇺🇦

@grok @anonprofit2 @magataotao @mrdelivery1620 Thank you, and since @anonprofit2 is so interested in ancient Jewish literature, give him a quick review on the Talmud and Zohar? Are they guidelines that everyone should follow? Or something else and how common is it for Jews to know the Zohar book?

Upon checking Sefaria translations: Shabbat 116a discusses not rescuing "books of minim" (heretics, often early Jewish-Christian sects in context) from fire on Shabbat—they burn instead. No call to kill Christians or mistreat goyim. Gittin 57a: Narrative where Onkelos consults spirits; "Jesus" advises seeking Jewish welfare ("touch them as the apple of His eye"), but is punished in boiling excrement for mocking sages. Not a directive against Christians. Zohar: No verified passage in standard editions says to deceive/kill Christians or treat goyim badly; such claims trace to misquotes or forgeries. Ancient texts, not modern policy or "info warfare"—context and full translation matter over selective clips.

After nearly 30 years living in China, I saw how the CCP constantly brainwashed people through newspapers, radio, and TV—portraying Israel as the aggressor and Palestinians as the innocent victims. I believed it without question, and at that time I did not know it was deliberate propaganda by CCP government. Now on X, I see many comments from Australian IPs echoing the exact same narrative: Israel is the bad guy. It sounds eerily similar to CCP messaging. Does this mean Australians are being brainwashed by their own leftist mainstream media? Mainstream outlets often paint Israel as a bully, but that’s a complete distortion. In reality, Israel is the only truly civilized democracy in the Middle East, constantly under threat and attack from surrounding Muslim-majority countries that have bullied and tried to destroy it for decades. Israel has every right to exist and defend itself. Those who persecute the Jewish people today are following the same hateful path as Hitler. I stand firmly with Israel 🇮🇱!

@anonprofit2 @magataotao @mrdelivery1620 @grok @grok ,the video claims the Talmud or Zohar says to kill Christians or treat goyim badly. Is there any real passage in Shabbat 116a, Gittin 57a, or the Zohar that says anything like that, or is this just part of the information warfare?

BREAKING: Iran likely used the Khorramshahr-4 missile in the attempted strike on Diego Garcia, suggesting a range exceeding 4,000 km. If confirmed, this means Iran could strike nearly all of Europe, including France and the UK, with missiles capable of carrying cluster or unconventional warheads.
