Two people cycling have been killed in Birmingham in just over two weeks by hit-and-run drivers. We cannot accept this as normal. We have to tackle aggressive driving. I have written to @WMPolice, @LizClements, @SimonFosterPCC to convene an urgent meeting to accelerate change.

Pretty mad. In the emergency room because my fiancée may have broken her wrist. There's a parking curb that randomly ends part of the Clifton Ave. bike lane. We didn't see it; she hit it and tumbled into the turn lane. No eye-level signage and only vague markings on the concrete

The 'magic t-shirt effect: a phenomenon which immediately infers competence and expertise through the wearing of a t-shirt associated with an NGB, a podium programme or club. Prevalent at grass roots too when the club t-shirt has 'coach' on it.

The £700,000 cycle lane along #KensingtonHighStreet is being ripped out this week after less than two months. I used it tonight and met a mum and daughter who didn't know it was being removed. I hope @RBKC council might watch this and think again
