@FerrexCS But we have to admit there weren’t mountain finishes upon till now. Tomorrow he will lose third place to Seixas normally. But the difference’s on top of the climbs wasn’t that big with Jonas/Paul like 20 sec each time. If he does good in TT there is something possible for podium

last climb today was the complete opposite of last climb on tourmalet s6 day for remco. s6 last climb was his ideal profile, today was his worst: no room for tempo climbing&constant stop/start low/high % switchups so only losing 4/10 to jonas/idt/seixas = great performance imo

@Slagmolen7 and yeah he still struggles with initial attacks and following them (if it comes from other leaders) but i think he's over the hurdle of not panicking and just trusting his numbers that he can be at least competitive w/ every1 expect pogacar

@Slagmolen7 he also got blocked TWICE in that last km (not televised was on multicam) by 2 different cars, he rode that last steep part/1200 meters as a demon. his ability to climb "longer" irregular climbs has improved drastically even if he gets dropped initially due to pacing strategy

this is also prob the explanation why lipo "struggled", he should normally destroy remco if you just look at avg % and length of the climb. however, lipo is usually also a tempo climber so he probably shared the same faith if you look at climb segments instead of just averages
