📍 Brussels. Situation report. It was a tough debate, but we stood our ground. We have the right to say no to the Ukrainian war loan. As long as @ZelenskyyUa does not lift the oil blockade, they will not receive any money from Brussels. No oil = no money.

Estimated 180 thousand people took part at the Peace March in Budapest yesterday, in support of peace, PM Orbán and Hungary staying out of the Ukraine war! Elections in 4 weeks!

At the largest Peace March in Hungary we once again made it clear: Hungary stands on the side of peace. As long as @PM_ViktorOrban is Prime Minister and Hungary has a patriotic government, Hungary will stay out of the war. We will not send weapons, soldiers, or the Hungarian people’s money to Ukraine.

Outrageous! A former Ukrainian general threatened @PM_ViktorOrban and his family (!) with a death squad if he does not change his position on Ukraine. Unacceptable. We stand with the Hungarian Prime Minister. Hungary will not yield to threats.

The @Europarl_EN is using the newly created European Order of Merit to award Ukrainian President Zelensky, who threatened @PM_ViktorOrban, a democratically elected leader of an EU member state. This is incompatible with European values. For this reason, today’s decision is completely unacceptable — another act in the EU’s political theatre. The @PatriotsEP decided already at the beginning of the nomination process to stay away from this theatre. The European Parliament is not even willing to follow its own rules and excludes the Patriots from positions that belong to them. The award process showed that it would not be transparent or democratic. A typical Brussels method.

On behalf of the @PatriotsEP, @vilimsky, requested that the @Europarl_EN hold a plenary debate on @ZelenskyyUa threats against @PM_ViktorOrban. The left-wing groups and the EPP voted down the proposal. Instead of defending the PM of an EU member state and condemning the threats, they once again sided with a non-EU country, Ukraine. Unacceptable. A leader of a country seeking EU membership – and now asking the EU for another €90 billion – cannot threaten the leader of an EU member state. The Patriots stand with PM Viktor Orbán against Zelensky’s threats.

Sometimes silence speaks louder than words. After @ZelenskyyUa openly threatened @PM_ViktorOrban, the silence in Brussels is striking. I don’t see a wave of condemnations. I don’t see EU leaders, left-liberal politicians or media standing up for the Hungarian PM. Hardly a day passes without unfair accusations against him over political disagreements. But when the Ukrainian president tries to settle a political dispute with violent threats, suddenly they all go silent. If European values and solidarity mean anything, the least they could do is stand up for the Hungarian PM and clearly condemn Zelensky’s threat. It is unacceptable that the leader of a country seeking EU membership openly threatens the leader of an EU member state. Period.

At the Conference of Presidents of the @Europarl_EN today, I confronted @HennaVirkkunen about the revelations by the @JudiciaryGOP that the @EU_Commission lobbied tech companies to censor conservative, right-wing political opinions. Even more serious are the allegations they did this to influence elections. I received no substantive answer. What is more, the left-liberals, together with the EPP, rejected the @PatriotsEP ' request for a debate on this matter. They do everything to sweep this matter under the rug. We, the Patriots, will not let this happen.

Open Letter to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Mr. President, For four years, you have been unable to accept the position of the sovereign Hungarian government and the Hungarian people regarding the Russia–Ukraine war. For four years, you have been working to force Hungary into the war between your country and Russia. During this time, you have received support from Brussels and secured the backing of the Hungarian opposition. We also see that you, Brussels, and the Hungarian opposition are coordinating efforts to bring a pro-Ukraine government to power in Hungary. In recent days, you have blocked the Friendship oil pipeline, which is critical to Hungary’s energy supply. Your actions are against Hungary’s interests and endanger the secure and affordable energy supply of Hungarian families. I therefore call on you to change your anti-Hungarian policy! We, the Hungarian people, are not responsible for the situation in which Ukraine finds itself. We sympathise with the Ukrainian people, but we do not wish to participate in the war. We do not want to finance the war effort, and we do not want to pay more for energy.
