Protestantism begins by saying the Church got corrupted. Then it asks you to trust the Church’s Bible.

@ThoughtfulSaint @Protestia Well this would be at least the Catholic position. God would not allow His Church to go without something necessary for salvation for so long. That was kind of the promise of the Gospel, that now salvation is available to men (obviously not the only promise of the gospel.)

It's hard to take these Orthodox online seriously. The average protestant defending the faith against these guys have been Christians at least the past 10 years while the average Orthodox is a new convert hiding behind anon accounts. We've survived the tough times of the faith, watching people come and go; scandals with prominent pastors and leaders; dealing with our own personal issues at times. But we're still here. We've praised God in the good times and bad, when it was popular and unpopular to bear the name of Christ because we have joy from the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us to endure, not to flee like the seeds among the rocks from the parable. As soon as times get tough and this movement becomes unpopular, they'll move on to something else and we'll still be here praising our Lord, because that's what real Christians do. ✝️✝️✝️

@DVerit38142 In my book Infiltration I give the argument for how and why the excommunication was not valid.
