Deeply concerning that the negotiator will not attend the Pathogen Access & Benefit Sharing Negotiations. Anyone who has been involved in negotiations knows the important discussions happen in the hallways and over tea. Hoping @DrDzul can rethink this decision.

Two truths can be acknowledged: 1) that this was a great speech; 2) Carney very recently propped up the actions of the state of Israel. Imperialists are suddenly feeling the effects on the boomerang very acutely. Time will tell whether this morality applies more uniformly.

I have to say the sight of Western leaders fumbling at the prospect of an additional colonisation of Greenland is remarkable to see. They enabled (and continue enabling) colonisation in Gaza by Israel, and of course all of our countries from Malaysia to Nigeria to DRC.

Yes indeed. The US is destroying world order. And so did Israel for the last two years. With Germany support. German and other European leaders cannot suddenly discover that the rule-based order is on its knee when they have governed over its demise for the last two years. Complicity, tacit agreement, appeasement, silence: these have a cost. A high cost. And you/we will all end up paying for it.

The majority of Europe stood by as Israel massacred 80,000 Palestinians. Some helped finance the genocide. Europe’s response to Venezuela has been pathetic. I’m not entirely sure the response to the annexation of Greenland will be any better.

While Malaysia is most definitely a Muslim-majority country, it is also most definitely an electoral democracy and not an Islamic theocracy. Our Federal Constitution remains the supreme law of the land. These are irrefutable facts that no amount of mental gymnastics can alter.
