I want Max to retire from F1, he’s already proven he’s the greatest do ever do it. He doesn’t need to chase records when he owns most of them. I’d much rather watch him in endurance racing because regardless of the DNF this is the best racing weekend I’ve ever experienced.

Kære alle Jeg har nu haft drøftelser med alle Folketingets partier og de nordatlantiske medlemmer. Næste skridt i forhandlingerne bliver at intensivere dialogen med de partier, hvor fællesmængden om en ansvarlig økonomisk politik er størst. Det betyder, at jeg ikke kommer til at invitere Enhedslisten, Alternativet og SF til flere møder. Afstanden i den økonomiske politik er simpelthen for stor, og de tre partier gik alle til valg på, at skatter og afgifter skulle sættes i vejret. Det er det modsatte af, hvad Venstre vil. Venstre vil bl.a. gøre det billigere at være dansker, lettere at drive virksomhed og styrke Danmarks konkurrencekraft. Derfor kommer jeg nu til at invitere følgende partier til videre drøftelser: Socialdemokratiet, Dansk Folkeparti, Liberal Alliance, Moderaterne, Det Konservative Folkeparti, Det Radikale Venstre og Danmarksdemokraterne. De har alle vist en åbenhed til at diskutere, hvordan vi får skabt et rigere Danmark. En stærk økonomi er forudsætningen for, at vi kan indfri de mange ambitioner om højere kvalitet i velfærden, lavere skat, forbedrede vilkår for danske virksomheder og iværksættere, rent drikkevand og bedre dyrevelfærd, en ansvarlig grøn omstilling samt et stærkere Forsvar. Når det er sagt, så vil jeg også slå fast. Jeg har efterhånden siddet i mange svære politiske forhandlinger, og de igangværende drøftelser er blandt de absolut sværeste. For det er ingen let opgave at forene de mange forskellige politiske ønsker, som partierne har lagt på bordet. Det er også nødvendigt at gøre det klart, at forudsætningen for det hele beror på, at alle partier er villige til at tilsidesætte personspørgsmål og bøje sig mod hinanden. Det her er svært, det ved alle, men jeg lover, at vi gør vores bedste og giver det et oprigtigt forsøg. Til sidst vil jeg også gerne kvittere for de mange gode drøftelser med alle partier, og over de næste par dage vil jeg forhandle videre, og det glæder jeg mig til.
