He served his country by putting his life on the line. He has a right to speak, and he pays an annual membership fee. As for loitering which is illegal, a bonafide member has a right to use a property. A vast number of members at this ‘elite’ club are defence personnel who defended the freedom we enjoy.

Applause to India’s disaster response forces for safely rescuing 300 tourists stranded mid-air in cable cars in Gulmarg, Kashmir. The disaster response teams comprising the SDRF, NDRF, Army personnel, local police, and the administration swung into action and rescued all the passengers stranded in 65 cable cars through a six-hour-long operation. The nation salutes the forces for their valour and skill.

@VivekSi85847001 These are parallel programs. AMCA and Mk-2 eco systems are very different even inside ADA. If you wait to see Mk-2 which is under a different ADA team and HAL, AMCA is further late.

@FighterPiloting Yes, we r not US or china where we can pump billions in one go, develop all things at once & upon that our orders also come in tokens which itself create hurdle in one time big investment.

AMCA manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh will take atleast 1 yr to ready (take it 2 yr) & in the meantime Engine partner for 120Kn AMCA Engine will also be shortlisted. If all goes well even from today onwards, don't expect AMCA Prototype before 2030.

@VivekSi85847001 Sir, I am hoping Puttaparthi would get a new runway for AMCA flight testing. The timings etc would still be the same as in LCA. Everybody is still the same. Private partners have no role in timelines shift left or right.

False info. There is no HTFE-40 engine. There is no use case for HTFE-25 on Jaguar platform. DARIN-III upgrade was completed by HAL long ago, & it never included integrating HTFE-25 or any other variant of HTFE. HTFE is long R&D, only planned on CATS-Warrior-II in the future.

HTFE25 with an afterburner dubbed the HTFE40 was supposed to power the Jaguar Darin 3's after the Honeywell engine upgrade was found to be too expensive. 3 squadrons were not upgraded from Darin 2 standards because the current engines were deemed underpowered
