The ToT and license for GE-414 engine is for HAL's LCA Mk-2 production. Once HAL sets up production, the future manufacturer of AMCA can also procure engines from HAL. But the deal would be subject to their mutual negotiation. Nothing is a given, at this stage.

As of now, engines are available with ADA based on which they chose 414 for AMCA for 1st flight by 2029. There is no connection with HAL for risks related to AMCA prototypes. Thats my post.

Now that the only technical expertise has been completely removed from AMCA, it will become a roaring success in a very quick time. Gorgeous plan.
