@Indrani1_Roy @VishnuNDTV Even better just use a damn drone
English

@someplaosint The way these morons write about china, one would think pakistani army is more competent than the PLA, such is the contrast between how they portray PLA and Pakistani Military
English

@nssdatta Hi Brother the mega link is not working I think the link has expired

@FighterPiloting I think the only reason HTFE 25 was conceived was because the "bright" people at HAL thought it's simpler to make than Kaveri and used jaguars as a loose Long term goal, and that's about it, no after thought went into finding an actual use case
English

False info. There is no HTFE-40 engine. There is no use case for HTFE-25 on Jaguar platform. DARIN-III upgrade was completed by HAL long ago, & it never included integrating HTFE-25 or any other variant of HTFE. HTFE is long R&D, only planned on CATS-Warrior-II in the future.
Uppili@2whlracinfan
@FighterPiloting @alpha_defense @KaliputraX Please cut the crap. HTFE25 with an afterburner dubbed the HTFE40 was supposed to power the Jaguar Darin 3's after the Honeywell engine upgrade was found to be too expensive. 3 squadrons were not upgraded from Darin 2 standards because the current engines were deemed underpowered

@Falguni1802 Is my family the odd one out, Even the thought of keeping someone else's jewelery seems incomprehensible to me
English

Hehehe my MIL tried that, one day i said i will wear all of it, took it from her,gave it to my mom and asked her to put in the locker , mil created a ruckus over it but I didnt care
Aditi.@Sassy_Soul_
I know someone who’s married, and her father gave her so much gold at her wedding, but her saas has kept all of it with herself. She can’t even wear it without asking for permission. Bhai itna hi shauk tha toh apne baap se bhi le aati gold 😭😭
English

@ImportBahadur @thugner101 And yet this time its every other country in the world with multiple countries having this calibr operational for more than a decade
Your arguement simply goes back to its not proven
Nothing is proven until the attempt is made
English

I wish they had retained the 40mm gun from Ahay for more firepower

Thugner@thugner101
Interestingly, perhaps the reason the Abhay (as FICV) was rejected was because it was not amphibious — a key user requirement.
English

@Tsukuyomi2170 @thugner101 Every 20 years or so, someone tries to reinvent the gun, fails and goes back to their proven calibres.
That's what will happen this time too.
Anything above 30mm reduces magzine depth to crazy low and the only way to solve this is to use novel methods like CTA (which will fail)
English

You are only talking about the current generation of IFV which were designed 20 30 years ago
This is one we are talking about the next generation of combat were no single country is going to use a 30 mm gun
You had issues with me mentioning 1991 war but you have no issues using vehicles which were designed decades before that
Moreover Bradley uses 25 mm bushmaster canon
English

@Tsukuyomi2170 @thugner101 Key point "consistently"
USA still maily relies on 30x173mm (50mm rounds in R&D hell)
China, Russia use 30x165mm with very small numbers of 57mm
France UK use CTA (highly experimental money pit likely to fail)
only SoKo Germany and Sweden consistently use anything above 30mm
English

@ImportBahadur @thugner101 I named you 8 countries
China SoKo USA Russia Germany France UK Sweden
Not to mention all these countries are world's leading defense exporters and will likely export their products to other countries
English

@Tsukuyomi2170 @thugner101 "Everyone"
And it's less than 5 countries consistently using anything above 30mm.
Both Ajax and Jaguar use CTA.
I.e a highly experimental tech that has never worked in the past.
Brits can burn money inducting a experimental system we can't, we have bloodthirsty enemies
English

@ImportBahadur @thugner101 And yet everyone is using above 30mm and its in production as well
Moreover Ajax uses 40 mm and so does EBRC Jaguar
English

@Tsukuyomi2170 @thugner101 If IFV have ATGM against Tank then why do you need a gazillion mm gun for.
30mm is adequate against almost everything else already
English

@ImportBahadur @thugner101 Even a 105 mm wouldn't pen KF51 frontally similar to any 40 or 50 mm
Also IFV have these things called ATGMs
English

@Tsukuyomi2170 @thugner101 40mm CTA Are highly experimental
40mm Bofors are only used by Swedes and Korean
35mm is also only used by Germans
50mm is still highly experimental
At 100mm it's less ifv more light tank.
All you have pointed out is I forgot to account for german 35mm
English

@ImportBahadur @thugner101 You said everyone uses 30 mm or lower
Which is very wrong because everyone is now trying to use 35 mm or above

English

@Tsukuyomi2170 @thugner101 I said only a 105mm is a good counter against modern K51 equivalent tanks
English

@ImportBahadur @thugner101 And?
You alluded IFV can only counter tank with 105 mm
English

@ImportBahadur @thugner101 Bradley got more tank kills than Abrams in 1991
English

@Tsukuyomi2170 @thugner101 You wanna put a IFV Against a tank
Good luck with that.
A 105mm turret would be your best option in this case
English

@ImportBahadur @thugner101 Yet the whole world is doing it
why because with tanks such as KF 51 panther one would even struggle to penetrate it with 30 mm
English

@Tsukuyomi2170 @thugner101 Like I said only Koreans and swedes are using traditional 40mm.
And if you would look at my previous post i specifically mention how only 35mm is going to stick around
English

@Tsukuyomi2170 @thugner101 And I am still of the opinion that the entire world is retarded, 40mm is the absolute maximum you should be putting on an IFV
we will not be having IFV vs IFV fight and as such 30mm is enough against lightly protected vehicles
At 100 mm you start calling it a light tank,
English

@ImportBahadur @thugner101 The entire world is moving ahead with bigger ammunition rounds
Its not something you can afford to lag behind
Even Chinese ZBD-04 has an additional 100 mm gun
English

@Tsukuyomi2170 @thugner101 None of those are going to stick around, maybe the 35mm but nothing else
English

@ImportBahadur @thugner101 Germans have 35 mm
Russia has 2 57 mm turrets
American Xm 30 has 50 mm
English

@Tsukuyomi2170 @thugner101 CTA rounds solve the issue of magzine depth but at the cost of being highly experimental and costly, not something we can afford to waste our time and R&D resources on.
English

@Tsukuyomi2170 @thugner101 I can only think of the Swedes, French Brits and Koreans everyone else uses some variation of 30mm or lower rounds and out of them only koreans and Swedes use normal 40mm rounds and even they are moving towards CTA rounds,
English
