An AI can't raise up a timber framed house, can't raise your chickens, and can't love your family for you If anything, AI might be a sort of freedom from the very things that have held us hostage since the industrial revolution A return to the norm

@politicalmath There are far better tiny homes out there. The high end of mobile homes are built the same as real houses

This is kind of a joke but also I looked into building a house for my mom on property that I already own and it was going to cost $450K to build something comparable to a 30 year old house across the street that was going for $250K
Mason Home Builder@bankertobuilder

Home Depot sells this house for just $43k After buying land, paying for labor to assemble it, getting utilities hooked up, pulling permits, pouring the driveway, setting up plumbing and electrical systems, landscaping, and property taxes, it only costs $497,000 to own your own home Why aren’t more people doing this?

@mattvanswol I think it’s safe to say it’s at least double that number. The Democrats really did a number on our country. Can’t let them EVER have power back or we’re in big trouble!

So basically: a) ICE deploys somewhere b) TSA lines plummet c) Traffic vanishes d) ERs clear out e) Construction sites are ghost towns f) Class sizes shrink ...and we're still supposed to believe there are only 11 million illegal aliens in the country?!

@bumbadum14 It's in the 9/11 documents TSA was created as a bailout scheme for the airlines. They could either accept TSA, or be fully liable for the lapse in security on that day

Lmao Imprison the sheriff for breaking his oath to defend the constitution which means freedom of speech. I am not joking, send him straight to gitmo or el salvador Federal Criminal Charges (18 USC § 242): It is a federal crime for anyone acting under "color of law" (using authority granted by a government agency) to willfully deprive any person of rights secured by the Constitution. This is a felony, punishable by fines and imprisonment up to 10 years, or up to life in prison if death results.

Wisconsin Sheriff Michael J. Bouchard confirmed that a man was arrested after distributing an offensive internet meme depicting him with a Jewish star on his forehead, calling it antisemitic. The sheriff said the man was “trying to threaten and intimidate” him by posting the meme. He said the First Amendment makes people “feel empowered, emboldened, and safe,” so he had to teach the public a lesson.

Lies: **False.** The tweet's core claim about the 1991 Crown Heights incident is a distorted rumor that helped spark the riots but has been repeatedly debunked by official accounts, police reports, eyewitnesses, and investigations. Here's the accurate timeline based on reliable records (including the NYPD, state probes, court records, and contemporary reporting from The New York Times, Wikipedia summary of primary sources, PIX11, and others): - On August 19, 1991, a station wagon driven by Yosef Lifsh (part of Lubavitcher Rebbe Menachem Schneerson's motorcade) struck another car, veered onto the sidewalk, and pinned 7-year-old Gavin Cato and his cousin Angela against a building. Gavin died from the crush injuries (instantly or within minutes); Angela was severely injured but survived. The driver did not intentionally run a red light in a targeted way—it was an accident during a motorcade (speeding was later cited as a factor). - A Hatzolah volunteer ambulance (a Jewish community EMS service with *basic* life-support equipment) arrived first, ~3 minutes after the crash (~8:23 p.m.). By then, a hostile crowd had formed and was beating Lifsh and robbing him. - Police officers and a city EMS technician on scene (including an NYPD supervisor) *directed* the Hatzolah crew to immediately remove Lifsh and the other Jewish passengers from the area for their safety amid the growing mob violence (hundreds gathered quickly). One officer reportedly told them: “Get your bag, get in your car and get out of here.” Hatzolah was not equipped for heavy trauma extraction (the kids were pinned under a heavy vehicle). - City (NYC EMS/Kings County Hospital) ambulances arrived right after. They extricated and transported the children: Gavin reached the hospital at 8:32 p.m. (pronounced dead shortly after); a second Hatzolah crew briefly assisted Angela before handing off. City ambulances, not Hatzolah, took the kids. The rumor that Hatzolah "loaded the Jewish driver but left the Black child behind to die in the street" out of malice or preference was false and spread rapidly, fueling three days of anti-Jewish riots (including the murder of Yankel Rosenbaum). A state probe confirmed police made the call to protect the driver from the crowd while city EMS handled the trauma victims. Hatzolah did not "abandon" anyone—they followed police orders in a chaotic scene. The tweet's opener is technically true (Hatzolah is a real, volunteer Jewish EMS service operating in parts of New York and elsewhere, serving anyone in need, though primarily the Orthodox community). But the 1991 anecdote is presented misleadingly to imply deliberate racism or supremacy, which is the false and inflammatory part. This narrative has persisted in some circles as an antisemitic trope, but facts from the time (and later documentaries/retrospectives) show it was a tragic accident + bad police crowd-control decision + rumor mill, not a conspiracy to let a Black child die.

New York Jews also have their own Hatzolah ambulances. In 1991, race riots erupted after a 7 yr old black boy was hit by a car escorting a ‘grand rabbi’ that ran a red light. The Hatzolah ambulance loaded the Jewish car driver but left the child behind to die in the street. Grim.

The fact that KENT actually believed that IRAN wanted a peace deal and that they PROMISED they would not develop nuclear weapons is absurd! He admits that they have a target on Trump's head, but says " there was no imminent threat to AMerica" ? He's following the given script that ISRAEL is the bad guy. He's a SOROS patsy!

SOME OF THE KEY TAKEAWAYS FROM MY INTERVIEW WITH JOE KENT. I decided to provide this summary because the media have either ignored the interview or focused on more trivial bits of the interview without reporting on some of Kent's astonishing statements and misdirection. You can decide for yourself. 1. I pressed Joe Kent on widespread allegations from multiple sources and in multiple news outlets about his leaking of classified information and an investigation that started well before he resigned. He denied leaking classified or confidential information to anyone at any time and said he was unaware of an investigation. 2. Kent denied leaking Charlie Kirk's group texts to Candice Owens, which were given to him in confidence by Andrew Kolvet, despite Kolvet implying otherwise. Kolvet issued his own video stating Kent suggested Kovet release the texts to the public, which he refused to do. Soon thereafter, Owens released them and has obsessively used the texts to suggest Israel assassinated Charlie. 3. Kent accused Israel of starting the 12-day war against Iran and our subsequent bombing of the Iranian nuclear sites. I know for a fact that Israel did not launch that operation without the go-ahead by President Trump. Furthermore, Israel did not force the President to bomb the nuclear sites. President Trump knew exactly what he was doing and made the decision after consulting with his civilian and military advisers. 4. Kent insisted that Israel was going to attack Iran several weeks ago and, again, forced President Trump to launch our current military campaign (in coordination with Israel) against Iran. The President, Marco Rubio, John Radcliffe, and others, all deny it. 5. He insisted that Khamenei wanted a peace deal and had issued a fatwa years ago declaring that Iran would never develop a nuclear weapon. I knew this was as absurd argument and pressed Kent. The President's envoys also contradicted this by the facts, as have others, as there are obvious and plentiful facts of Iran's pursuit of a nuclear weapon, manufacture and accumulation of nuclear material, its violation of nuclear agreements, and its clandestine activities surrounding the entire decades' long project. 6. I mentioned Iran had lied about the reach of its ballistic missiles, to include most of Europe, to which Kent said nothing. 7. Kent's obsession with Israel as the aggressor against Iran was apparent throughout the interview. He repeatedly portrayed Iran as the victim, ignoring Iran's myriad acts of terrorism and its establishing, funding, training, and arming of Hezbollah and Hamas, among other things. 8. Kent repeatedly accused Israel of controlling President Trump's decisions respecting Iran, ignoring my repeated mentioned of the myriad examples of Iran's 47-years of acts of terrorism and war against our country, embassies, military installations, military personnel, and assassination attempts against the President and other top administration officials. 9. Kent ignored the repeated declarations by the President that he would not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon, and repeatedly insisted that Iran was not close to making a nuclear weapon, in direct contradiction of Iran's own representations to Special Envoys Witkoff and Kushner in the final rounds of negotiations before the President ordered the current military actions, as well as CIA Director Radcliffe's sworn testimony and the statements of others in the know. 10. When I asked Kent to name the 18-intelligence agencies that he claims unanimously concluded Iran was not close to having a nuclear weapon, he did not. Of course, the President makes the final decision based on all the information provided to him, including not only intelligence information but information from other sources as well, and other circumstances. Nonetheless, Kent's assertion cannot be verified. 11. One of the most preposterous and pernicious of Kent's views was his insinuation that Israel may have been behind the assassination of Charlie Kirk, which he declared during his interview with Tucker Carlson. I pressed him hard on this. He tried to adjust his insinuation to suggest there could have been a foreign actor but that was clearly an equivocation. He also claimed he could not provide specifics as he could not reveal them, or the information was classified or whatever. But he insisted it needed to be pursued. Obviously, he has no information to support any of it. It was a blatant antisemitic trope, to go along with his other obsessions with Israel. 11. I asked Kent about the timing of his resignation and the provocative claims in his letter, as well as his allegations against Israel and supposed Israeli lobbyists and their claimed influence on the President (convincing him to go to war). He responded with generalities, talked about a media echo chamber, and repeated his charge that the President essentially was not making his own decisions. He also said he did not issue his letter at the outbreak of the war because he had hoped the President would quickly reverse course. Clearly, his resignation, letter, and the timing was intended for media consumption and to undermine the President and, he hoped, delegitimize the President's decisions, which Kent knew would be used by the media, the Democrats, the Woke Reich, and others against the President and his decisions. There was much more. You can listen for yourself here:
