In 1967, a reporter asked Polish mercenary Rafał Gan-Ganowicz how it felt to kill a man. He said: “I wouldn’t know — I’ve only ever killed Communists.”

And they don't index capital gains for inflation. Meaning if you invest your money to stop it from losing its value, and *all* you do is keep up with inflation, you're still taxed as if you made a profit. They trash your currency and leave you no escape

Just a reminder that Lindsey Graham lives 90 minutes from my doorstep... …and he NEVER came to visit us in Western North Carolina a SINGLE TIME after Hurricane Helene. Seriously, not even once. He has flown to Ukraine NINE TIMES and tries to visit Israel “every 2 weeks”…

I invest 1 dollar. Inflation happens. Now everything that once cost 1 dollar costs 2 dollars. So my stock is now worth 2 dollars. I sell the stock. The government says I profited 1 dollar. They tax me on it. But I didn't profit. I broke even while they destroyed the dollar.

In American politics, the book deals are the payoff. James Comey got a book deal. Andrew McCabe got a book deal. Peter Strozk got a book deal. Vindman got a book deal. Bill Barr got a book deal. Nikki Haley got a book deal. Mike Pence got a book deal. See how this works?

Here's what the internet will soon become because of AI: An infinite library, with infinite truths and infinite falsehoods, and a complete inability to tell those two things apart. This is straight from the 1941 Jorge Luis Borges story “The Library of Babel”. In it, he imagines an infinite library made up of books of random letters. Because it is infinite, it contains not only every book ever written, but every book that could possibly be written. It contains every possible truth as well as an infinite number of falsehoods. The secrets of the universe, of life, of everything, are hidden somewhere in that library. The only issue is: that magical book is impossible to find. And if you found it, how would you ever know you found the book of truth, and not one of the infinite books of lies that surround it?

Reminder: St. Peter's Basilica's dome is so huge that it could (theoretically) fit the Statue of Liberty standing inside. It's the tallest dome in the world, designed by Michelangelo over 479 years ago.

ln 1992 Al Gore predicted that within two decades, Florida would lose 60% of its population due to climate change. Today, 34 years later, Florida’s population is 425% higher than it was in 1992.

Here's my hypothesis. What we just witnessed in KY with the Massie loss was a 'struggle session.' It was designed to send one message: "We're fully in control, you have no power, and you might as well not even waste the time to vote." It was an operation designed to inflict demoralization. Same as not being allowed to be on the beach alone during 'Covid.' That's it's complete nonsense **IS** the point. Same as publicly executing Charlie Kirk. Same energy, same intention, & the same people. The point is to demonstrate their power, with the target being your sense of agency and control. We no longer need to wonder why the Trump administration has zero interest in finding CK's actual killer. It's the same people. Who was that figure in white seen leaving the roof of the Sorenson building at UVU that fateful day? That nobody cares on Tyler's 'defense team' or with any investigative authority is meant to be both obvious to the thinking person, as well as demoralizing. That's the play; fracture and divide us. Demoralize people to the point of giving up before they can even begin to organize, let alone fight. It's a form of cognitive warfare, and it's been running non-stop since Covid first appeared in 2020. Why? Because someone hates America and its people and wishes to see us taken down. The Barbarians are inside the gates. That's what the Massie loss means to me.

So what we're supposed to believe is that a guy who only had 75 donations from Kentucky, an empty victory party, and nobody at his rallies, managed to double turnout from 2024 plus get all 10k mail in ballots KY-4 may have been outright fraud These numbers don't make sense

@socoloffalex This is why the future of R&D is local. These remote models are going to wane as local models will be able to achieve 80-90% of what the frontier models can. That extra "utility" isn't worth the spying and the brain power that it takes to hide your thoughts from the "watchers."

@robably__ Yep, all this bull crap about “AI will give you possibility to run a company, or build and launch what ever you like” just a bullshit. Built it and test it for us so we can take away from you what works and makes money.

I’m not sure if I’m gonna be in trouble for that but screw it! Google has a whole department whose only job is to steal startups. I was a principal designer at that startup - what we did is literally copy successful startups and launch them under the Google name. How do we find a successful startup you might ask? All your free apps on your phone collect data legally - VPN, ChatGPT, Notes… you name it. All the cool products you build with AI are gonna be stolen one day. You’re literally paying to build and test stuff that all those huge companies are gonna steal from you. Welcome to the real world fam.

The problem with today’s billionaire class isn’t that they don’t pay taxes or give to charity. It’s that they spend the fortunes they have amassed on self-pleasing niche initiatives that baffle most Americans — and then use their permanent NGO class to hijack state and federal money for their causes. Andrew Carnegie gave away his fortune building the public library system. The Rockefellers built the University of Chicago and Rockefeller University, funded the YMCA and eradicated hookworm. The giving of today’s multi-billionaires seems autistic in comparison, detached from the hopes and needs of ordinary people and subject to the blinkered gatekeeping of professional philanthropic administors. Bill Gates genetically modifying mosquitoes in Kenya is something Dr. Evil would do. Fighting climate change in the Philippines helps zero Americans in any practical way. Ordinary Americans don’t want to penalize success. They want to feel like they are part of a common endeavor that includes the luckiest and most successful among us. They want to see billionaires who use their talent for innovation actively giving back to their communities in imaginative and concrete ways that benefit people outside of Silicon Valley. If that doesn’t happen, it’s going to get harder to get rich in America and keep your money — which will be bad for everyone.
