@ColdCriti I think this issue really stands out with the demon characters. The cold, emotionally distant personalities of the demons would be creepy and noteworthy in most other series. In Frieren, the emotional range of the demons is pretty much the same as everyone else.

The lack of any tension between characters is one of my pet peeves with Frieren. Every interaction feels so dry like saying hello to your coworker, every person they meet they're just like
"Hello we're just passing through"
"Yeah we're just passing through too"
