The Wagler discourse is so hilarious. Everyone has known about his deficiencies. Him being able to produce so much despite the deficiencies is what made him a top prospect. Him getting over those deficiencies is when we enter special territory. This was never an overnight thing.

I’m seeing so many people be critical of Wagler after his first game when it’s obvious they didn’t watch and only saw the stats. Kings threw two at Wagler a lot in that first game and he just made the right pass. Getting two thrown at you and being able to make a pass out of it is a good thing in NBA games. Don't agree. He looked overmatched against pressure and was completely unable to get into the paint. He wasn't double-teamed on every position. It's one game, doesn't mean that much, but it wasn't a good start.
