I must apologise as I realised this after watching the full episode that it wasn't you that asked. I do think there is a strong argument for both sides, it is certainly a tough one to address... My belief is that you are putting an avoidable target on your back, not so much now, but into the future. However, I agree with you in that it can be an inspiration for others (like you, like myself and I'm sure many others)

I appreciate you checking out the video! I didn't ask him how much he has as a start to this. He shared his milestone online, and I thought it was awesome and worth a chat on the channel. I don't personally buy into all the Bitcoin people's aversion to talking about their stack. You're statistically more likely to be robbed just walking around or for driving a nice car or some other reason. Plus I just don't like when others make up rules for me. The entire reason I am where I am today is because other people were transparent with their wealth achievements and it made me realize that stuff wasn't some nebulous idea... rather, I could do it too. So if more people listened when people said "never share your numbers," unfortunately, a lot of people (like me) would never find the inspiration to start. Another side of it to consider!

Great stuff @Sammy_Rigger but not sure broadcasting how much Bitcoin you hold is wise.... come on @YourFriendAndy When asked how much Bitcoin you hold a) you must question why they are asking and b) the answer is ALWAYS 'not enough'

@FinCreighton @YourFriendAndy It's true! I don't have enough. I do think it's a good way to motivate young people to begin their journey in Bitcoin. I want to be some kind of proof that bitcoin isn't only for those that got in early and a whole coin isn't out of reach for the average young 20 year old!
