@FinCreighton There are some really top level bitcoiners in Sydney and Telegram is the best way to connect IMO. You'll probably make some connections to the bitcoin community too, if you go that route.

Does anyone know why does @Coinstash_AU take such a long time for a consumer to withdraw assets from their app? I used to think it was a one-off incident. The wait time is unusually long. Any suggestions for a better #SMSF /personal brokerage account in Australia?

Satoshi premined. He mined before anyone else and got (and holds) a much higher percentage of the supply than many founders. Sorry to kill your virgin birth myth.

I’m a 23 year old Aussie Bitcoiner. With the way Australia is going, I am hesitant to build my life here… I want to be able to buy a home, have a family, raise my kids without crazy gender politics, give back to my community, and be somewhere where people (at least to some extent) see the world similarly to me. If you were in my position, where would you consider moving?

@FinCreighton It still won't help in Australia, or the USA for that matter. It's the number that's KYCed. In the USA burner phones last 3 months at the most and then you have to pay through the system to keep that KYC free number. There are silent sim providers around and that's the best bet.

Why does everything in Australia require a phone number to use? I can't do anything without a phone number... Except bitcoin

@FinCreighton You are totally KYCed when you get a trad phone number. Hence, the "authorities" can police the system. The part I don't get is why the spammers and the criminals get unlimited different numbers and can continue business uninterrupted. Oh wait, maybe I can take a guess after all.
