@cryptorover 140 firms backing one dollar stablecoin isn't the same as going all in on crypto. and it doesn't even launch until later in 2026, with no binding commitments detailed

BofA says Amazon $AMZN is raising prices 20% on select AWS GPU reservation workloads, effective July 1, after a 15% increase in January. The firm expects price increases to add 1-2 pts to 2H AWS growth and says this raises confidence in further AWS acceleration.

@scottmelker the genius part is right, issuers can't pay holders yield. but ousd's model, partners keeping the reserve yield, is already legal. clarity section 404 hits exchanges paying retail, not that setup

The GENIUS Act made it illegal for stablecoin issuers to pay you the interest on your dollars. 140+ of the largest firms in finance just organized to capture that yield for themselves through Open USD. CLARITY would close the loophole. They’re betting it doesn’t pass.

Bitcoin has support at $58,000. I doubt it will hold. Once it gives way, Bitcoin could collapse below $50,000, testing the August 2024 low. If that support fails too, the next level is around $20,000. Strategy will have to sell a lot more Bitcoin to maintain its dollar reserve.

Circle stock is absolutely COLLAPSING. It's down 14% today! Here's why: Stripe, Coinbase, Visa, Mastercard, BlackRock & 140+ others just launched a rival stablecoin called Open USD. It charges zero minting fees & hands the reserve yield back to partners. That yield IS Circle's business model. This is an existential threat.

here's my thoughts on the visa / mastercard / $COIN stablecoin situation it launched today. it's called Open USD, run by a group called Open Standard, and there's like 140+ companies in it: coinbase, visa, mastercard, stripe, blackrock, google the idea is it's cheaper to use and it hands the interest on the reserves back to the partners instead of the issuer keeping it. which is basically how $CRCL makes its money on USDC you could see it in the stocks today. circle dropped ~16%, coinbase only ~5% coinbase makes a big chunk of its money off USDC interest (~$305M last quarter, like a fifth of net revenue), and they just joined a coin that competes with that. and their revenue deal with circle is up for renewal in august my guess is their just covering their bases so they win either way, or if it's a bit of a power move against circle right before they renegotiate. probably some of both doesn't really change any numbers yet, the coin isn't live till later this year. just feels like the first real thing to come at USDC in a while and this is all happening while crypto's pretty weak, btc under 60k, money leaving the ETFs. coinbase is just less exposed to it than circle is

I made a huge mistake the last year I’ve had over 50% of my acct in $META & $AMZN I’ve refused to buy the narrative that the capex spenders won’t be rewarded Well here we are today, day after day they are getting beaten down to a pulp.. I’ve been trimming them the last month or so And today I sold 500 more $Amzn @$229 and 100 more $META @$560 to free some capital for my other high conviction names Please note: I’m not at all bearish on these names and I will be covering those shares with some leaps or calls. Just exiting some for now. Still heavy in both names.

$RDDT normal Google AI Overviews might actually help Reddit in some cases one 2026 study found exposed SFW Reddit communities saw comments up 12.0% and commenting users up 12.4% mostly in advice, opinion, and personal experience threads which makes sense if the query is “what do real people think about this”, the summary is not really the product the thread is the product the scarier thing is Google AI Mode once the user can keep asking follow ups inside Google, Reddit loses more of the reason to click through so the question to me is whether Reddit Answers can become the front door for that type of search before Google fully owns it not generic facts but human debate, product research, troubleshooting, local recs, weird niche experience

pretty interesting setup with $COIN right now BTC is back under $60K, but equities already stabilized S&P and Nasdaq were green while crypto kept bleeding feels more like a crypto demand drought after Warsh flipped the Fed from cut hopes to hike bias Coinbase Premium reportedly negative for ~44 straight days US spot demand just is not there near term, $COIN can still trade like garbage if BTC keeps losing demand medium term, they’re still stacking agents, tokenized stocks, perps, Deribit, USDC, Base, and x402 timing is the whole trade imo
